Hi,
Darling.
As you arrive in your space.
Find a position that feels comfortable and cozy for you.
Maybe you're lying down.
Beneath a blanket or simply allowing yourself a moment to finally stop carrying the day.
As you settle in,
We are going to slowly lay it all down together.
So take a deep breath in Gently let it out with a sigh.
Let the frustration leave your body for a moment.
The pressure,
The mental noise,
The overstimulation.
Again,
Inhale deeply.
And exhale slowly.
Allow your body to begin relaxing.
Allow your arms to fall softly to your sides.
Palms facing upward open to receiving calm rest and new energy allow your jaw to soften and unfurl your brow Blink your eyes a few times gently.
And when you're ready.
Allow them to close.
And for just a moment,
Darling,
Allow yourself to simply notice.
What's been circling within you lately?
Thoughts,
The emotions,
The pressure of holding so much.
There's no need to fix anything right now.
I just want you to notice.
Take another slow breath in.
And exhale softly.
Letting go a little more with every breath.
Our constant need for perfection.
The overstimulation from sounds and lights to conversations and responsibilities the irritability,
The brain fog,
And the hot flashes.
While,
Darling,
Your senses may simply be asking for rest.
So for right now.
Allow yourself to cool down.
To soften.
To just be here.
And maybe all the things that have been annoying you the noise,
The emotions,
The mental clutter simply exists beside you for this moment.
No figuring everything out tonight.
Just breathe with it.
Allowing what's here to simply be here.
Because the season of life is not about becoming perfect.
It's about learning to understand the shifts happening within you.
With more compassion,
More patience,
A little less pressure.
Your body is changing.
Your mind is adjusting.
Your nervous system is asking you for softness,
Not shame.
So breathe again slowly.
And let yourself rest inside this moment.
Exactly as you are.
And now,
Darling.
Gently repeat these affirmations silently within your mind or softly out loud if that feels comforting to you I release the pressure to hold everything together perfectly.
My body is changing,
Not betraying me.
I do not need to solve my entire life before bedtime.
And maybe most importantly tonight.
I lovingly release the urge to argue with imaginary people in my head at 2am.
Notice if a small smile wants to appear.
It's okay to smile here.
It's okay not to take yourself so seriously in the moment.
Sometimes healing isn't only found in deep seriousness,
Darling.
Sometimes it's found in the soft breaths,
The self-compassion learning to laugh gently at the beautifully human experience of being us.
Even when your hormones are all over the place.
Even when the brain fog is foggy.
Or your partner chewing suddenly sounds like a full construction site and sends you completely over the edge.
Just breathe You are human.
You are shifting.
And you are adjusting And through it all,
You are still worthy of rest.
Still worthy of softness and still worthy of peace.
So take one more slow breath in.
And exhale gently,
Allowing your mind and body to settle a little more with every breath.
And as you continue resting here tonight Allow yourself to remember this.
You do not have to move through this season perfectly.
You do not have to have all the answers.
You do not have to hold everything together all the time.
This version of you deserves compassion too.
So let the world quiet for a little while now.
Let your shoulders soften Let your mind slow down.
And that yourself.
Simply rest.
The world can wait until tomorrow,
Darling.
Tonight.
Let your overstimulated mind Finally,
Exhale.
