Take a reenergizing walk through the woods with me to a stream where you can release your worries and watch them float away. Allow the sounds of the stream to let you connect more deeply to yourself and feel more free and at ease.

Hello everyone,

And welcome.

My name is Sarah,

And today I'll be leading you through a short meditation that will allow you to release anything that is holding you back and embrace the possibilities of today.

So,

Let's begin by gently closing your eyes,

Or keeping a soft gaze in front of you,

And taking a deep inhale through the nose,

Breathing in whatever you need for today,

And exhale,

Sighing out your mouth,

Releasing whatever you don't.

And,

Taking two more deep breaths,

Just like this,

Inhaling through the nose,

And exhaling through the mouth,

And continuing with this conscious breath.

On your next one,

I want you to start by imagining that you are in the woods,

Standing on the bank of a gently flowing stream.

It's a warm and sunny day,

And the air smells of damp earth and flowers.

Breathe in deeply,

And smell the woods,

Looking around at all the beautiful greenery.

Look at the stream,

And notice the sunlight sparkling on the water.

Hear the sound of the stream as it tumbles over the rocks,

Coming into the present moment here,

And allowing all of your senses to be immersed in this beautiful moment.

As you watch the stream flow,

You reach down and slip off your shoes,

Wading into the middle of the stream.

The water is cool,

And the ground beneath your feet is sandy.

You are facing downstream,

And the water is flowing away from you.

The sun warms your back,

And the water cools your feet.

As you stand in the stream,

You notice leaves floating on the water as it moves downstream.

As you watch this,

You gently turn your awareness to your thoughts.

I want you to select one that has been holding you back,

A thought or an expectation of yourself that has been limiting you from embracing your full potential,

An inhibition that blocks you from a world of greater possibilities.

Reach down and pick up one of those leaves floating in the stream.

Place that thought on the leaf,

Really making sure you see it there.

Bend down and put the leaf,

Which now carries your thought,

Into the moving water.

Watch it as it floats away from you,

Further and further away.

And as it floats downstream and out of sight,

Notice that you feel lighter,

Clearer,

And more at peace.

Turning to your thoughts now,

Become aware of a situation or circumstance that is holding you back.

Bring this situation or circumstance into clear focus,

And choose one that blocks you from reaching your greatest goals and desires.

Again,

Reach down and pick up a floating leaf.

Put this situation onto the leaf,

And place it back into the moving stream.

And watching as it floats further and further away,

Noticing the relief you feel,

Your body and mind becoming clearer.

Continuing now to acknowledge any thoughts or situations that you need to release.

Accept them and place them onto the leaves and into the stream,

Letting go of your attachment to them,

No fixing,

No solving,

No trying to change anything.

Just allowing the flow of the stream to move your worries away from you,

Releasing.

Allow it to dissolve your need to control outcomes,

And notice how you feel lighter,

More present,

And more relaxed with every leaf you float downstream.

Allow the sound of the stream carrying the leaves to stay in your awareness as you continue to release your concerns,

Leaf by leaf.

Now,

Feeling so much lighter and more free,

I want you to notice a golden light ahead of you,

A warm,

Sparkling golden light streaming down onto your head.

Feel this golden light spread across the top of your head,

Flowing slowly like warm honey Feel the positive and clearing energy of this warm light,

Filling the spaces where your troubling thoughts once existed,

Nourishing the body with pure and positive energy.

It flows down the back of your head,

Onto your forehead,

Cheeks,

Your neck,

Your shoulders,

Energizing every single cell in your body,

Clearing your mind.

This warming light relaxes the muscles all across your face and neck.

Feel your body buzzing with energy,

Pure and bright,

And allow the light to continue down your body,

Onto your chest,

Your stomach,

Your hips,

Your thighs,

Your knees,

All the way to your feet.

You are now enveloped head to toe in this warm liquid light.

Feel its energetic embrace,

The way it makes you want to dance in its flow.

All of your muscles are buzzing with positive energy yet at ease,

Ready to shine this bright energy throughout the day.

Enjoy this light's warm embrace for a few moments,

Noticing the shift in your body in just a few moments of mindfulness.

Imprinting this feeling of lightness and buzzing energy from our toes to our head,

Holding the release in this light close to us to illuminate our path.

As we close now,

We're going to take one deep inhale together,

Really sealing this energy,

And exhale to return to our day.

Ready now,

Inhale,

Sealing this time together.

And exhale,

Gently opening your eyes,

Wiggling your fingers and toes,

And preparing to transition to the rest of your day.

Thank you for joining today,

And may the light of possibility embrace you throughout your day.
