This short talk explains how hormones affect weight management and energy levels in the body. High levels of insulin can lead to storing energy as fat, causing weight gain and other side effects like low energy and poor sleep. To shift the body into fat-burning mode, focus on natural foods like proteins and vegetables instead of processed sugars and unhealthy oils. Avoid inflammatory foods like nightshades to promote weight loss and improved well-being. Consider exploring my course, "Align Your Hormones, Energy & Inner Peace: A Balanced Method," for guidance on balancing hormones and feeling better overall. Hi,

This is Samantha,

The Blissful Soul.

Did you know that hormones play a crucial role in our body when it comes to maintaining a healthy body,

Even more than counting calories?

Hormones are responsible for regulating energy,

Fat storage,

And metabolism.

If you have hit a plateau or having trouble managing your weight,

You want to hear this?

Insulin is a key hormone in this process.

When insulin levels are high,

Fat-burning hormones are suppressed,

Leading to energy being stored as fat.

To simplify,

Think of glycogen as the sugary or processed foods as the items stored in your kitchen or pantry,

Like chips or sodas,

The ones that you can grab quickly and are easiest to store.

These foods are easily accessible and provide quick energy for your body.

However,

If we continue to fill our kitchen with these items only,

Our body will always choose them for energy rather than the good food it needs,

Leading to fat storage and potentially causing a weight loss plateau or even weight gain.

We go for them first,

And then our body never accesses the good energy it needs.

It's constantly running on glycogen,

And if it cannot deplete it,

It cannot tap into our fat-burning system.

So we are only acting as sugar burners.

This is why we have low energy and other side effects like mind fog and bad sleep.

To shift our body into fat-burning mode,

We should focus on natural foods like proteins,

Such as chicken and fish or vegetables.

Avoid unhealthy oils such as canola and soybean,

Processed sugars,

And grains.

Even certain vegetables that can be inflammatory,

Such as nightshades,

Can be doing harm.

This can help unlock fat-burning,

Promote weight loss,

And make you feel better.

These are just a few tips.

If you need more guidance on balancing your hormones and improving your overall well-being,

Consider exploring my course called Align Your Hormones,

Energy,

And Inner Peace – A Balanced Method.

This course can help you not only lose weight,

But also feel better overall.

I hope to see you there for a 5-week approach to help reset your gut and feel great.

Feel free to leave any comments with questions.
