Hello everyone today let's do a simple self-care meditation yes in spiritual path we talk a lot of selflessness and when you go deeper and deeper that is a reality but before all of that we tend to forget about ourselves we do a lot of service to the community outside maybe you're a parent maybe you're a teacher maybe you're a worker you do a lot of things outside of yourself but we tend to forget ourselves so this is a gentle reminder and if we correct this or fix this we to give something also we should have something right and then when we fix ourselves it's much easier to help others as well as you can go more deeper and deeper on the spiritual path so sit comfortably you can lie down maybe you are in a bath or resting relaxing may this time be for you so try to have a comfortable posture and take some time to find some stillness and just take part by part of the body and slowly try to release the tension gently move to the top of your head and then slowly release then come to your forehead area and all the way around the round head also and then just release then your eyebrows and eyes and all the way back to your head back off your head and then your cheeks check up on your mouth even the teeth did that the tongue and then all around and release and then come to the neck area and then all the way around your neck also and then release or check up on both of your shoulders and try to release them as much as possible then the upper part of your arms the chest all the way across your body right up to the back of the upper part of the body the chest area then come to abdomen area and the lower part of your hands and then all the way to the lower back and try to release that part then even your palms you can open them up as them upwards and then check on the lower part of your body just like that the upper part of the body and then the lower part just above the knees thigh muscles all the way around then check up on your knees all the way around on both legs then the calf muscles the ankles the toes and just like the fingers of the hand just try to release then try to see like how comfortable it can be it doesn't have to be 100% but if you feel some kind of comfort a little bit relaxed less stress that's a very good sign now imagine the best place you would like to be a calm quiet place that makes your mind more calm some people like the ocean some people like the forest some people like to be near a stream or some people just in an open area some people near a river but it depends on the person now just try to take your mind to one of those places you prefer the most and just try to bring that experience again it's okay to visualize or remember and if you're an ocean lover just like with each wave just see it comes and touches the shore and then it slowly goes away if you're like if you like the forest just see the sounds the wind trees or either it be a stream that flows or a river even open area you can feel the gentle breeze coming and going and just let just like that just let all the difficulties of the mind with each wave that comes and goes just let it come and go just let anything come to your mind and you can do this with each gentle arising and passing according to your experience according to your liking and just let it arise and pass if you feel comfortable just see what you can do just simple things to make life better maybe you need some more rest maybe you need to go out a bit maybe you need some exercise to bring back more energy just think not massive huge things but little things you can do with the clarity of the mind and just make a small affirmation I will make my life better just in a very gentle manner now slowly come back to your body travel slowly with the mind along the toes the ankles the calves the knees the thighs all the way up the abdomen touching your hands shoulders everything and run the face and slowly come into the breath and just know every moment is a new moment which the breathing breath brings in and with each exhaust it takes away just like the ocean waves or the wind or the shaking of the trees or the stream that flows and just know you can heal you can be comfortable right here right now and take this practice and know if you go deeper and deeper you can make much more powerful mind states that can cure you for any kind of difficulty now slowly open your eyes
