Sleep is an essential phase of our life. We need it to achieve a restorative rest, preparing us for the new day. The hours of sleep permit us to flush trivial worries and integrate our outer experiences so we can awaken refreshed and ready for the challenges of the new day. Sleep is a very important state of consciousness for all of us. A short verbal preparation followed by binaural beats for approximately an hour, through a full sleep cycle... for a peaceful sleep state.

Welcome to active meditation.

In this exercise we prepare for sleep with the help of binaural beats.

The process starts with relaxation and detachment from our instruments of awareness,

Our physical body,

Emotions,

Desires,

And our mind and intellect.

Take a few moments to detach from your instruments of awareness.

I will wait while you do this.

Set aside all daily worries and concerns.

They will still be ready if you want to pick them up later.

Do this now.

Remember to park the intellect by taking it off as if taking off a hat and putting it aside.

It will be there to be picked up when we wake up.

We acknowledge the observer,

The silent witness.

This is who we really are,

Our higher self,

Our immortal conscious presence.

We follow this by moving to our true home,

The ocean of light and life,

The source where we are safe and at peace,

Drift in the ocean,

In the ocean of light and life.

In the ocean,

In the ocean of light and life.
