This heart connection meditation and breathwork is helpful when the practitioner needs to achieve stillness in order to listen to the wisdom and guidance within. This track begins with grounding, followed by connecting to intuition and heart space, with breathwork and guided inquiry throughout. There is space between each guided inquiry for the practitioner to self reflect, and there are several moments at the end of silence for the practitioner to continue contemplation if needed.

Namaste.

Welcome to this meditation.

This is called the Heart Connection Meditation with Breathwork.

Take a deep inhale and then slow down the exhale.

Inhale.

Slow exhale.

Continue two more times without my direction.

Place one hand over the heart,

Connecting in with your heart space.

And place one hand over the belly,

Connecting in with your intuition.

Two more breaths.

Inhale.

Slow exhale.

Again.

Close the eyes as you continue to breathe,

If that feels safe.

And now take your awareness to the rise and fall of the belly.

And now take your awareness to the rise and fall of the chest.

And now take your awareness to the heartbeat.

See if you can feel the heartbeat in your hands.

And now take the hand you had on your belly and place it over the hand you currently have over the heart.

And just focus on the heartbeat as you breathe.

With every inhale,

Fill up the lungs completely.

And every exhale,

Slowing it down.

Every inhale invites in a little more peace,

A little more calm.

And every exhale releases and lets go a little more.

Continue to connect in with the feeling of the heartbeat.

Now see if you can hear the heartbeat.

And as we continue to focus on the feeling and the listening of the physical heart,

Tune into what the emotional heart is saying.

Continue to breathe.

What does the heart need to tell you?

Where does the heart want to go?

What does the heart need from you?

Continue to focus on the feeling of the heart in your hands.

Continue to listen into your body for the heartbeat.

How can I bring more joy and peace into my life?

How can I let go to allow more space for my heart's true calling?

What is the next step I can take to align with my soul's purpose?

How can I simplify my life so I can focus more on what matters the most?

Come back to the feeling of the heartbeat.

Come back to listening to the heartbeat.

Press back to the rise and fall of the chest as you breathe.

To close,

We will do two cleansing breaths together.

So take the hands from the heart and take them into prayer position,

Anjali Mudra.

Take a deep inhale through the nose.

Notice the coolness of the temperature as it enters.

Hold the breath around the heart and then exhale through the mouth,

Noticing the warmth as it leaves the body.

One more time,

Deep inhale,

Fill up the lungs.

Savor the air in your lungs as you savor this moment and then exhale,

Big sigh.

Thank you all for joining me on this meditation today.

The light in me honors the light in you.

Namaste.
