Welcome,
Take a nice gentle deep breath in and as you breathe out,
Close your eyes,
Settle down,
Drift a little deeper within.
This is a gratitude meditation,
Entitled I'm grateful for who I am.
These words are not to fix you,
But to remind you,
You are never broken.
Take another full breath in,
And exhale softly.
Let each phrase move through you,
Not to repeat,
But to absorb.
Let them settle wherever they land.
I am grateful for this breath,
Even when I forget to be.
I am grateful for my body,
Imperfect,
Changing and alive.
I am grateful for my own inner effort,
Even when no one sees it.
I am grateful for how I've kept going,
Especially on the days I almost didn't.
I am grateful for my softness,
For how I care,
Even when it hurts.
I am grateful for what I've let go of,
And what I'm still learning to release.
I am grateful for my patience with myself,
Even when it's tested,
Even when it runs thin.
I am grateful for the ways I've grown,
And for the parts of me still tender,
Still learning.
I am grateful for the strength I don't always recognise.
I am grateful for the quiet courage it takes just to show up.
I am grateful for the love I've given,
And for the love I've allowed myself to receive.
I am grateful for myself,
Not for being perfect,
But for being real.
Breathe in presence,
Breathe out enoughness.
These words are already inside you,
They are part of who you are.
You don't have to earn them,
You only need to remember.
When you're ready to move forward,
Carry this truth with you.
Self-acceptance isn't a destination,
It's a gentle remembering,
Moment after moment,
Breath after breath.
Bring to mind everything that you're grateful for.
And as we near the end of this meditation,
Bring the gratitude back with you.
Bring that energy back with you.
Slowly bringing some movement into the hands and fingers,
Bringing some movement into the feet and toes.
Taking a gentle awakening breath,
And opening your eyes,
Returning to the day.
And as always,
Be gentle with yourself.
