Today's practice is going to be sacred,
Central and deeply intimate.
It is not about performance,
Reaching a goal.
It is about presence.
It is about remembering,
I am safe with me.
We will begin with a self-touch ritual,
A practice of returning to your body.
And when the audio ends,
You can continue your self-love ritual in a way that feels good to you,
In a way that makes you feel loved by yourself,
In a way that is truly you.
But more on that soon.
First,
Let's drop in.
Find a quiet space where you can be fully with yourself.
Make sure you are not going to be disturbed.
And make sure you take this time just for you.
Sit or lie down.
You may wear whatever feels aligned to you right now.
You can wear your most beautiful clothes or your pyjama or nothing at all.
You can use your favorite oil or simply your hands.
You can light a candle.
You can make the room beautiful.
Whatever feels like you.
Whatever makes you feel comfortable.
And whatever makes this moment sacred to you.
So when you are ready,
Let's start with the breath.
Inhale deeply into your belly,
Into your chest,
Into your collarbone.
And let go through the mouth with a sigh.
And repeat that for a couple of times.
And just let your body know she can soften.
There's absolutely no rush.
You're not being watched.
This is just for you.
Begin by placing one hand on your heart and one hand on your belly.
And just feel your hands on your body.
Become aware of this touch.
And become aware of any emotions flowing through you.
Keep breathing deeply into your belly.
You're safe.
You're held.
You're allowed to let go and to soften.
And now gently move your hands wherever your body calls you.
Listen.
Don't force anything.
It's totally fine if they want to stay where they are.
Let them move gently.
Give your body the touch she wants.
There's no right or wrong.
Just let your hands listen.
And as you move,
Let your touch say,
I'm here.
I see you.
I've missed you.
You are safe with me.
Stay with the rhythm of your hands and your breath.
Keep breathing deeply into your belly and sigh it out through the mouth.
You may feel warmth,
Joy,
Pleasure,
Or grief,
Or maybe nothing at all.
Everything is welcome.
Just acknowledge whatever there is.
And then breathe into the sensations.
And then repeat quietly.
This body is perfect the way it is.
I am safe in my own hands.
It is safe to feel.
This is sacred.
Whatever comes up,
Remember you are safe.
And keep breathing into your belly.
And keep giving yourself the touch you truly desire.
Whatever that may be,
It's perfect.
Take a deep breath in and exhale gently.
Let your hands return to stillness for a moment.
And feel the afterglow of your own presence.
The echo of your own love.
You have touched your body with reverence today.
This is not a small thing.
If you feel called to do so,
You can continue in whatever way feels right.
And for your self-led ritual today,
I invite you to choose one small thing to eat.
Something you love.
And then eat it with your full attention.
Let yourself feel as much pleasure as you can.
This could be a grape,
A piece of chocolate,
Or a spoonful of honey.
Anything that brings you pleasure.
But just one bite,
One moment.
Taste it.
Savor it.
Before you eat it,
Look at it.
Smell it.
And then slowly place it in your mouth with intention.
Chew it slowly.
Let it melt.
This is not about food.
This is about receiving pleasure with no guilt,
No rush and no shame.
You are worthy of sweetness.
You are worthy of slowness.
You are worthy of being nourished by your own hands.
And now let that truth carry you into the rest of your day.
You are not just loving yourself right now.
You are remembering how to do that.
Thank you for doing this practice with me.
