Where do you put your intellect in front of your receptivity?
And is it serving you to do that?
Probably not.
Never.
It never is serving because there's a wisdom inside of your heart that is so much more powerful and profound than your intellect could ever be.
Our intellects are limited.
Our wisdom is infinite.
I have had to learn this also.
I still go on this try too with my teachers.
And it actually helped me develop the concept of listening to analyze and listening to judge and listening to evaluate,
Which is the exact way of listening that most people do,
Is that I'm not going to be receptive to this until I agree and understand.
And you can just choose to be receptive because to be receptive is to neither agree nor disagree and neither believe nor disbelieve.
But we think words are threatening,
Which is so crazy.
We think we have to filter out things.
And we have examples of this all over the world right now,
And it's one of the reasons why people get so divided is because you said something and I don't agree with you and thus I cannot be receptive to who you are as a person.
It happens everywhere.
It's particularly dominant in the United States right now.
So sometimes we can trust that our heart is listening and hearing the things that it needs to hear without us understanding.
