The Ho'oponopono is an ancient Hawaiian practice of reconciliation and forgiveness.
Through the willingness to forgive and love,
There is immense power to heal and transform your world.
There are four simple steps to this process,
Forgiveness,
Repentance,
Love,
And gratitude.
With forgiveness,
We simply ask,
Please forgive me.
Don't worry about who you're asking,
Just ask for forgiveness.
With repentance,
We apologize,
We say I'm sorry.
With this comes the sense of responsibility for everything your mind creates.
You are a part of the collective consciousness that creates all the different situations and events that happen.
With that understanding,
It's natural to feel sorry.
So choose something you know you've caused for yourself,
Maybe it's an addiction,
Maybe anger issues.
Whatever it is,
Begin by saying you're sorry.
Next we move into the simple act of love by stating I love you.
Say it to your body,
Say it to the universe.
Say it to the food you eat and the air you breathe,
The house you live in.
Say I love you to the challenges you face,
Say it to people you've hurt,
To people you might not feel comfortable with,
And mean it when you say it.
There's nothing more powerful than love.
Finally,
In gratitude,
We say thank you.
Again,
It doesn't really matter what you're thanking.
Thank your body,
Thank yourself,
Thank God.
Just keep saying thank you.
Take a deep breath now and settle into your body.
You can either repeat the words out loud or in your head,
And focus on the meaning and feeling of what's being said.
Please forgive me,
I'm sorry,
I love you,
Thank you.
Please forgive me,
I'm sorry,
I love you,
Thank you.
Please forgive me,
I'm sorry,
I love you,
Thank you.
Please forgive me,
I'm sorry,
I love you,
Thank you.
Please forgive me,
I'm sorry,
I love you,
Thank you.
Please forgive me,
I'm sorry,
I love you,
Thank you.
Please forgive me,
I'm sorry,
I love you,
Thank you.
Please forgive me,
I'm sorry,
I love you,
Thank you.
Please forgive me,
I'm sorry,
I love you,
Thank you.
Please forgive me,
I'm sorry,
I love you,
Thank you,
And I forgive you.
Take note of how you're feeling in this moment.
Do you feel lighter?
Do you feel more acceptance and love?
This is a practice that's good to do every day and see the way it changes your world and how you interact with others.
I hope you go into the rest of your day with a sense of gratitude and wholeness.
Thank you.
