Hello and welcome to this yoga nidra practice for abundance.
My name is Ashley and I'll be leading you through this practice today.
I'll invite you to arrive in a relaxed,
Comfortable position,
Whatever that looks like for you.
To reach a place of deep relaxation,
It's recommended to do this practice laying down where your body can be fully supported.
You can lay down on the floor,
On a yoga mat,
In your bed and nestled with your pillows or even on your couch or recliner.
Make your comfort a priority,
Finding a position that feels easeful.
As you settle in,
Make any last minute movements in the body,
Getting out any fidgets or wiggles before arriving in stillness.
Once you've finished up those last minute movements,
Settle into stillness.
Close down the eyes if you haven't yet.
Let's begin to clear out the current energy with the breath.
Start by taking a deep inhale through the nose.
Exhale,
Open mouth sigh.
Another inhale through the nose.
This time hold it at the top,
Sip a little bit more air.
Exhale,
Big release out the mouth,
Pushing out any stale energy.
One more inhale through the nose,
Little extra sip at the top and full exhale out.
Let it go.
Return to your natural rhythm of breath and just notice where the breath is circulating in your body right now.
Now become aware of your heart center.
In the space of your heart,
Tell yourself three times,
Here begins,
Here begins the practice of yoga nidra.
I will stay awake and receive what I need.
Repeat three times.
I acknowledge the abundance all around me.
I am deserving of my greatest dreams.
As we welcome stillness within to absorb our intention or sankalpa,
We'll start with the outermost layer of our being,
The physical body.
As I call out a part of your body,
Bring your awareness to that area.
Start by becoming aware of the space between the eyebrows,
Your third eye center.
Become aware of the base of the throat.
Right shoulder,
Right elbow,
Right wrist,
Right thumb,
Right pointer finger,
Middle finger,
Ring finger,
And pinky finger,
Right wrist,
Right elbow,
Right shoulder.
Returning at the base of the throat,
Move your awareness over to your left shoulder,
Left wrist,
Middle finger,
Ring finger,
And pinky finger,
Left wrist,
Left shoulder,
Base of the throat,
Center of the chest,
Right side chest,
Center of the chest,
Left side chest,
Center of the chest,
Navel,
Pelvis,
Right hip,
Right knee,
Right ankle,
Right big toe,
Right second toe,
Third toe,
Fourth toe,
And pinky toe,
Right ankle,
Right knee,
Right hip.
Returning your awareness to the pelvis,
Left hip,
Left knee,
Left ankle,
Left big toe,
Left second toe,
Third toe,
Fourth toe,
And pinky toe.
Left ankle,
Left knee,
Left hip.
Returning to the pelvis,
Becoming aware of the navel,
Center of the chest,
Base of the throat,
Third eye center,
The space between your eyebrows.
As you draw your awareness over to your left shoulder,
Drop into this state of presence in your body.
Begin to connect to your breath.
Descend deeper to the energetic layer of the body through the breath.
Sagittarius is symbolized by the archer courageously pursuing whatever it sets its heart on.
As you take a slow smooth inhale through the nose,
See the sun resting in your heart.
On your next slow steady exhale,
See the sun shoot out like an arrow from your heart towards your soul's target.
This target can be anything you desire,
Anything you've been dreaming of.
Inhale,
The sun retracts back in,
Breathing,
Bringing what you're aiming for into the heart.
Breathe into this feeling of claiming your target.
Exhale,
The sun shoots out like an arrow into the universe.
Inhale,
The sun draws back into your heart.
All that you are reaching for is yours.
Exhale,
The sun shoots out.
Inhale,
The sun retracts back in.
Take a few more breaths,
Shooting the sun from your heart on the exhale and bringing it back in on the inhale,
On your own rhythm of breath.
Feel yourself expanding with all you are bringing in.
On your own rhythm of breath,
Feel yourself expanding with all you are bringing in.
Gently let go of the sun and return back to your natural breathing.
Softly welcoming nice and easy inhales and exhales.
Inviting a sensation of freedom and positivity throughout your spirit with your breath.
This freedom makes you feel light as if you are weightless on a cloud.
Then feel yourself become heavy as if a weighted blanket was over you.
Now experience yourself sinking,
Experience yourself floating.
Experience yourself floating.
Feel yourself become constricted.
Now feel yourself become expanded.
Feel yourself become tense.
Feel yourself become relaxed.
Invite the sensation of chaos.
Now invite the sensation of stillness.
Experience the sensation of excitement.
Now experience what it's like to be overcome with boredom.
Feel what it's like to be frustrated.
Feel what it's like to be satisfied.
Feel what it's like to be happy.
Feel what it's like to be happy.
Invite the sensation of jealousy.
Now invite the sensation of gratitude.
Feel what it's like to have a scarcity mindset.
Now feel what it would be like to have an abundance mindset.
Now picture a soft golden light descending over you,
Warm and luminous.
Each beam flows through your body,
Cleansing and purifying every cell as it moves.
Feel the light dissolve any obstacles holding you back,
Creating space for clarity and peace.
This radiant golden light softens any boundaries where your spirit feels confined.
Your body and soul then drift into buoyancy,
Just floating in the glowing golden light.
Uplifted by a flame of optimism and enthusiasm,
You feel a spark of adventure and expansive dreaming ignite within you.
Now feel the golden light radiating from your heart,
Spreading outward.
Let it amplify this positive energy,
Transforming you into a magnet for abundance and possibility.
There are no limits to how your dreams can grow and flourish.
Invite the golden light to manifest the positive changes you desire.
Immerse yourself fully in the golden glow as it encapsulates your entire being,
Body and spirit.
Open your mind.
Open your heart.
Be receptive to any sensations that arise.
Send gratitude to this radiant source for its cleansing and manifesting powers.
For answering your calls for abundance.
Radiate love outward,
Intertwining your cosmic consciousness with the infinite golden light of the universe.
Then you tell yourself three times,
I acknowledge the abundance all around me.
I am deserving of my greatest dreams.
Gently begin to reawaken,
Coming back into your physical body.
Tap your thumb pad to each of the other fingers.
Softly wiggle your toes.
Send your gaze side to side,
Rolling out the neck.
Take a full body stretch,
Reaching for all four corners of the physical space you are in.
Roll over to your favorite side in a fetal position.
Lie here for a moment,
Bowing inward to your heart.
Honoring yourself and your dreams.
All the abundance that lies within you.
When it feels good to you,
Slowly push yourself up into a seat.
Keep the eyes closed,
Bringing your hands together,
Rubbing them to begin to generate heat between your palms.
Place the palms over your eyes,
Feeling the warmth set over your eyelids.
Gently begin to blink your eyes open behind your palms,
Letting little slivers of light through.
Eventually removing your palms and letting all the light back in.
