Here we explore the power of journaling, specifically using a tangible notebook. Not only does this allow us to physically capture and treasure the moments we experience, but it also has the power to transform our lives and our manifestations based on what we choose to focus on. We'll dive deep into how the act of journaling can change our quality of life, allowing us to savor the little moments that make life so special. We'll also discuss how the words and phrases we choose to capture in our journal can inspire and motivate us to become our best selves.

Welcome back!

I have been journaling for maybe 10 years,

Even more,

Using two different mediums.

The tangible journaling on my beautiful notebooks,

Which I love and cherish,

And also journaling on my phone and on my laptop.

Simply jot down what you're feeling.

Like,

I'm feeling tired,

Alright,

It's time to journal.

Let's take our phone and just type.

I feel tired,

I'm exhausted,

I'm sad,

I have depression.

I'm writing my feelings,

I'm unloading those feelings so that I can observe them,

Maybe inquire about the causes.

Now another form of journaling that I love,

Love,

Love,

Love doing is writing down things that my partner has said to me,

That my mother has said to me,

That my brother has said to me,

That other wonderful people on my path have told me,

That ring true and resonate within,

Because it's such a beautiful treasure.

One of my love languages is writing.

Language,

Communication,

Verbal communication,

Speech,

Words,

Phrases.

When someone expresses verbally their appreciation to me or something,

Whatever it is,

That really,

Really,

Really goes deep for me.

And it just allows me to absorb it and cherish it and nurture it.

You know,

I have a journal,

Many journals actually,

In which I write down those sayings.

As soon as they happen,

As soon as I can get to my journal,

While they're fresh in my mind and they feel resonant,

And I can remember mindfully the exact words that were mentioned.

Sometimes it's 90% or 80% of the exact words,

But it still refers me back to that moment that I just experienced.

And then I look back and I'm so amazed of all the beauty,

Of all the love.

Amazing!

It's just amazing to be able to have that treasure container,

This notebook,

In which I look in and I'm like,

Wow!

That is amazing that it's happened!

It is the equivalent of taking a photo,

But for your inner world.

Because those words that touched you,

They will bring you back to that space again.

Maybe not 100%,

Just like a photo can't exactly take you into that space,

Because the present is always changing,

But there will be a way to get back there and reflect.

It's not necessarily getting back there,

But reclaiming it,

Re-feeling it,

Re-experiencing it.

If nothing else,

This is a very good way of being mindful and present with your loved ones and with yourself.

Shower thoughts are an example.

I take a shower and I have ideas coming to me,

Or insights.

And as soon as I come out,

I write them down.

I actually bought a rain journal that you can use for shower thoughts and the paper doesn't melt from the water.

So journaling is a way for bringing clarity to our mind.

And also journaling on an actual,

Tangible notebook has another layer of importance.

The sound of the pen,

The pencil,

The brush on the paper is so healing.

To me it centers me back to the present moment,

Because I can see,

I can hear,

I can feel the texture of the paper and the brush.

I can feel the sensation of creating something out of nothing.

And that is a miracle.

Beautiful.. I’ve been journaling since I was12… it’s connected me and healed me. I first read the diary of Anaís Nin then and started my own journey of writing. Feelings, poems ,songs. Words are magic . And like the book The four agreements being to light ..1st agreement is Be impeccable with your word. Words are so powerful.. and those kind words of appreciation and gratitude go a long way in healing the scars that mean and hateful words that sometimes are like real poison to innocent children’s spirits . We are all magicians! Let us spread words of love, compassion, upliftment and joy..let us weave encantations of peace ☮️ and happiness for this world 🌎 this whole wide world . Thank you for sharing ..I love the “shower thoughts” and I’ve had many ideas for songs in the shower ..that I didn’t write down as I got busy with day. Out to the universe they floated ..maybe they’re songs on the radio now ! 😹💫🎵✨

Thank you so much. This reminded me and expressed for me why I love writing so much and why I need to get my thoughts and daily experiences and my interactions and memories down on paper right away instead of just collecting them in my head!. I’m getting more into poetry and sometimes the thoughts just fit the poetic style if I don’t have enough to write an entire article or essay, but just want teachings of the experience to be distilled on paper for beauty and eternity🙏
