Hello dear friends,

Today we gather in our peaceful sacred spaces to embrace the gift of self-awareness and uplift our spirits among challenging days.

Let us begin by finding a comfortable position,

Allowing our bodies to settle into a state of ease and relaxation.

Close your eyes gently or have a gentle gaze down at the floor,

Taking a deep breath in and exhale,

Letting go of any tension or worries from the outside world.

This is your space.

This is your mind.

This is your time.

As we turn inward to continue the work of healing ourselves,

Let us acknowledge the emotions that arise within us without judgment,

Without resistance.

Like the rain that nourishes the earth,

Our emotions have a purpose in our lives.

Let us sit with them today,

Creating a safe space for self-exploration and self-compassion.

Now bring your attention to the rhythmic flow of your breath,

Allowing your breath to be at its normal pace.

Notice the sensations of each inhale and each exhale.

Every single feeling is different.

Every single breath is different.

Feeling this breath as it naturally expands and contracts in your body.

With each breath,

Let go of any lingering heaviness,

Allowing yourself to embrace the present moment.

Be here now.

In the stillness,

We begin to feel ourselves here in the present moment in the universe.

We have peace within us.

We have significance within us.

We will chant a mantra together.

The mantra is Om Shanti Om.

This ancient Sanskrit mantra carries the vibration of peace and tranquility.

As we chant,

Let the sound vibrate within you,

Soothing your mind and your heart,

And invite in a sense of harmony.

Repeat this three times.

Om Shanti Om.

Om Shanti Om.

Om Shanti Om.

Just as the rain nourishes the earth,

Let your self-awareness nourish your soul.

Observe any emotions that arise within you.

Perhaps there are feelings of sadness,

Frustration,

Or fatigue.

Acknowledge them with tenderness and understanding,

And without judgment.

Allow yourself to fully experience these emotions,

Knowing that they are a part of your human experience.

Now,

Imagine these emotions transforming,

Like drops of rain merging into a flowing river.

Every drop of rain plays a significant part in the flow of the water.

Every emotion is significant within you.

Every emotion creates who you are.

With each breath,

Feel this river of emotions carrying you forward,

Empowering you to embrace the challenges and the uncertainties of life with grace and courage.

Breathe in.

Breathe out.

Remember that you have the power to uplift yourself by acknowledging who you are and how you feel in each and every moment.

Embrace the rainy day as an opportunity to nurture your inner growth and cultivate gratitude for the beauty that lies within.

Breathe in.

Breathe out.

With each breath,

Invite a sense of renewal and freshness into your being,

Into your body.

Inhale deeply,

Imagining the raindrops filling your lungs with clarity and inspiration.

And exhale,

Releasing any remnants of negativity.

As we bring this meditation to a close,

Take in one more deep breath at your own pace.

And as you exhale,

Gently wiggle your fingers and your toes,

Awakening your body to the present moment,

Right here,

Right now,

In your sacred space.

Open your eyes.

Open your awareness to the world with a renewed sense of peace and joy.
