This practice has no music and begins with a short playful poetic prose - spoken word style. The spoken words leads us into quiet, calm, stillness, so that we may notice what is here now - what is already here when we stop. I hope you enjoy this short practice. Thank you for joining me. Please note: the practice is recorded live, in the moment, and is similar to life - there may be background sounds and soft sounds that invite us to return to the moment.

Stillness is.

I am.

Who is?

Grateful.

Gratitude.

Love being.

Release.

Relax.

Breathe and be.

There is something here and it is magic.

Magic is a force without force.

A frame without boundaries or bindings.

A knowing without knowing the why the why not the where the have the have not.

Thank you.

Thank you for this moment,

This breath,

This day,

This life.

Thank you for this chance to be and to see that it is not me being and seeing.

It just is.

It is the way,

The light,

The felt,

The bright.

It is the call,

The fall,

The rise,

The tall,

The short,

The small,

The large.

It is all.

Stillness is what is left,

What it all happens to drop,

To fall away.

Away,

Away,

Away.

For here,

A way to stay.

Stillness is the way.

The way in and out.

The flood,

The drought,

The laugh,

The cry,

The scream.

Oh my.

Stillness is the way to see,

To be,

To know,

The me and you,

The you and me.

Stillness reminds me to hush when I want to chat and to whisper when I want to scream.

Hey,

See me,

See me.

Don't you see me?

I want to be seen.

Who is this I calling out for equality and what is equality but a lapse in memory,

In remembering.

The completeness that's always here,

Already here,

Always near and always dear.

Close your eyes and experience the truth.

Nothing's lost,

Nothing to prove.

Be gentle,

Be calm,

Be patient.

Be.

Be and see stillness here,

Alive within me.

Stillness is the root to my giving tree.

Stillness takes nothing.

It doesn't need.

Stillness speaks words and poems and books too.

Stillness lives.

How about you?

Stop,

Drop,

Notice.

What is always here?

Notice what is always dear.

Just be,

Just be,

Just be.

Just be still and see and take a nice full breath in through your nose and out through the nose of the mouth and let yourself settle.

Let every part of you settle.

Let the whole of you settle.

Let the facial muscles relax and the eyes soften.

Feel the natural rise and fall of the chest and the belly as you breathe in and breathe out.

Feel the body held completely,

Supported completely,

Filled and full and empty too.

Let yourself be.

Take another breath in and a longer,

Slower,

Deeper exhale to follow.

Bring your awareness to your hands,

Fingers,

Fingertips and as you breathe in and out,

Allow the hands to become softer and heavier and notice what is here now.

Let your body be still.

Become the observer.

Remain curious.

Notice what is here now and let yourself be as this meditation recording comes to a close,

Knowing that you can stay right here or you can return to your day.

Take one more breath in through your nose and out through your nose,

Your mouth,

Long and slow and deep,

With gratitude for taking a moment to stop and be,

Wishing you a wonderful day or night.

Thank you so much for joining me.

Peace and blessings for you.

Namaste.
