I Am Yoga Nidra I Am Filled With Divine Energy

This practice is done laying down. Have a cushion under your head, knees and blanket to cover up with. Melt into your body and connect deeply to your breath. We use the intention of "I am filled with Divine Energy."

And once you've found whatever comfortable position to be in,

Lying on the floor,

Just go ahead and start to let the eyes gently close.

And quiet your mind.

Let go of all thoughts,

Worry,

And tension.

Relax,

Trust,

And let go.

Now breathe in fully,

And exhale with a deep sigh.

And again,

Breathe in fully,

And exhale with a deep sigh.

And let go even more.

Feel a deep sense of peace and contentment in your heart.

Allow yourself to receive our intention for practice.

Let your whole body listen to what I say.

I am not this body,

Not this mind.

I'm filled with divine energy.

Recognize that your body has been a trusted vehicle,

Creating accomplishments and contributions to the best of its ability.

Now it's time for your body to rest.

And now start to bring your attention to the face.

With your next exhalation,

Allow all expression to drop from the face.

Release the tiny muscles around the eyes,

Allowing the eyeballs to rest back in their sockets.

Using the tiny muscles around the mouth,

And the tongue resting in the mouth.

Jaw gently opening and softening.

Allow the cheeks to soften towards the floor.

Scalp resting on the skull.

Neck soft.

Totally be available to the entire range of sensations in the face and head.

Now drop into a sense of your whole bodily presence.

Release this present moment's experience undistorted by what you like or don't like.

Let go what's going.

And come what's coming.

Feel yourself descending down into the stillness beneath the mind.

All excess tension and holding carried out with each exhaling breath.

Feel yourself held in absolute stillness.

As we enter this next phase of yoga nidra,

Try to remain as motionless as possible.

If you need to move or make an adjustment,

Do so mindfully and return to stillness as soon as you're able.

Resolve to remain awake,

Staying in touch with the sound of my voice.

Allow any disturbances,

External or internal,

To draw you more deeply within.

Now shift from thinking and doing to feeling and being.

Do absolutely nothing from now on.

Carefully relax.

Now follow my guidance as we begin this whole hum sound and breath.

Start breathing in through the nostrils and guide your breath and attention to the space between the eyebrows.

All the way down the spine,

Ending at the base of the spine.

As you breathe in,

Guide your attention to the space between the eyebrows and all along the base of the spine.

And as you exhale,

Guide your breath and attention upwards,

The length of the spine back to the space between the third eye.

Exhale from the eyebrow center down to the base of the spine.

Exhale from the base of the spine up to the space between the eyebrows.

Continue with this breath.

Now integrate this breath with the non-vocal sound of so hum.

With each inhale,

Feel the sound of so as the breath flows from the space between the eyebrows down the spine.

And the so hum on the exhale from the base of the spine up to the space between the third eye.

Remain totally absorbed in the subtle vibration of the sound of energy moving along the base of the spine.

Feeling so,

Exhaling hum.

Be totally engaged in the sacred presence of that I am.

Deeply engaged and totally absorbed.

That I am.

I am that.

And now breathe normally.

Feel your attention to rest in the space between the eyebrows.

Experience a deep stillness extending everywhere.

Feel your whole body lying still.

Give yourself the permission to enter the deepest level of relaxation right now.

Drop into that silent space where all doing stops.

Secret text appears that may all be Piece of And follow my guidance as we move through different parts of the body.

Let your attention rest on each body part as I name it.

Or comment or judgment.

All ten toes.

Both ankles.

Both knees.

Pelvis.

Abdomen.

Chest.

Arms.

Hands.

Throat.

The face.

Back of the head.

The spine.

Buttocks.

Calves.

Heels.

Soles of the feet.

Sense the whole body from the top of the head to the tips of the toes.

The whole body.

Whole body in awareness.

Feel the whole body.

Place all your attention at the Muladhara chakra located at the perineum or the base of the spine.

Feel this area begin to glow and pulse.

Feel the earthly dense quality of this chakra.

Tendencies of the conditioned past moving energies down and out now freed to move inward and upward.

Energy rising through the feet,

The legs,

Perineum,

And up through the central energy channel.

I leave survival and allow grounding to be the foundation of awakening.

Now bring your attention to the second chakra located in the pelvis.

Feel this area beginning to pulse and glow.

I transform my sensuality into love and liberation in Svadhisthana chakra.

Bring your total attention to Manipura located above the navel.

Feel the solar plexus of nerves that nurtures digestive fire.

Feel this area beginning to pulse and glow.

I develop the fiery power of will and deliberate action in Manipura chakra.

Feel you're now free of all limitations.

You lack absolutely nothing.

Now breathe into the heart center,

Anahata.

Feel the area in the middle of the chest beginning to pulse and glow.

Feel your heart center being awakened,

Unconditionally present and open.

Recognize you are the eternal timeless being manifesting through the heart.

Feel that your body is full of light.

Every cell in your body flooded by the light of consciousness.

I am a beacon of love and light.

Moving to the throat center,

Visuddha.

Feel this area beginning to pulse and glow.

Let go of all fear,

Dependency and control that limits your full expression.

Feel a new sense of relief and openness in the throat.

Reclaiming your voice of wisdom.

I clear all blocked communication arising from reactions and perceptions.

I am empowered to use my speech with clarity and balance under all conditions.

Bring your attention now to Anya chakra,

The third eye.

Seeing the area between the eyebrows begin to glow and pulse.

Find yourself completely at peace with yourself as you are and the whole world just as it is.

Allow yourself to melt into complete oneness and bliss in the highest center,

Sahasra,

The thousand petal lotus at the crown of the head.

The whole body surrounded and permeated by light.

Let go of all fear,

Dependency and control that limits your voice of wisdom.

Bring your attention to the center between your eyebrows and drop into the deepest level of relaxation.

Here there remains nothing to do or achieve.

You've entered the domain of grace.

Feel completely safe and comfortable as you hand yourself over to the power and protection of the presence.

Let go of all doing.

Place it with trust and faith.

Being empty and free from all doing.

Here comes the sound.

Now allow yourself to receive the following intention as I repeat it.

I am not this body,

Not this mind.

I am filled with divine energy.

I am not this body,

Not this mind.

I am filled with divine energy.

I am not this body,

Not this mind.

I am filled with divine energy.

Allow this intention to go to the deepest levels of recognition with no hesitation.

Know that your higher self honors and recognizes your intention.

There's no need for you to do anything about it.

Bring your attention back to the center between the eyebrows.

Feel the life force flowing freely,

Healing the body and calming the mind.

Open your heart and feel content.

Establish yourself firmly in faith and trust to receive the grace,

Protection and guidance of the higher self within you.

The more often you go to your source,

The easier it will be to return there and the longer you can stay.

Feel the presence of your own spiritual guides surrounding you and blessing you.

Accept their blessing and grace.

You are the emissary of light and love.

If you have an area that you feel needs healing,

Physical,

Mental or emotional,

Allow this light and love to flow into that area now.

Now begin to feel the rising and falling of the breath.

Really start to feel yourself returning to the surface of awareness.

Notice your body resting on the floor.

If you're ready,

You can gradually start to move as if waking from a restful sleep.

If you'd like to stay here a bit longer,

You're more than welcome to.

Taking your time,

You can gently bend the knees,

Maybe bring them in towards your chest.

Gently rock here.

Taking your time,

There's no rush.

Gently turn to your right side.

Just stay curled here for just a moment and bring this intention back into your awareness.

I am not this body,

Not this mind.

I am filled with divine energy.

Every time you find yourself in reaction,

You are empowered to replace it with your intention.

As you're ready,

You can gradually move and begin to sit up with your eyes still closed.

Let's bring awareness back to the body.

Just notice how relaxed the body is,

How soft the breath,

And how silent the mind,

How quiet the heartbeat.

Be grateful.

Know that you can enter here again and again.

Slowly bring your awareness back to the body.

Bring a deep sense of peace and contentment as you bring your awareness back to the body.
