Fears are used to protect us and keep us safe,
But some fears are due to a belief system or past experience that results in a fear that is not necessarily keeping us safe,
And may be hindering our ability to flow through life with greater ease and towards the things that we love.
Throughout this practice,
We'll be using two techniques of acceptance and moving into our power to support and overcome our fears.
To begin,
We're going to do a small relaxation practice so that we can go deeper into our journey with fear.
Close your eyes and find a comfortable position.
You're going to come into your heart space,
A space of pure love.
Soften your mind and move your awareness down into your chest,
Away from your eyes that are constantly trying to understand and process,
Away from your brain wanting to configure and narrate your experiences,
And gently flow into your heart,
A space that has the ability to simply love everything just as it is.
Rest your awareness here,
Do not think of your fears,
Simply be here now,
In a space of love.
Let your body,
Muscles,
And tissues reflect the feeling and the energy of love.
I'll give you some time to soak up this loving feeling.
Wonderful.
Now,
I'm encouraging you to reflect on ways that this fear may have protected you in the past,
Or why it began with a loving intent to serve you.
Do not move into your fear,
We're simply observing and reflecting now,
Seeing it through the eyes of love,
And discovering how it's protected you,
Or how love may have intended this to serve you at some point in time.
Letting go of the reflection,
And come back to that same heart space now,
That beautiful space of deep love,
In your chest,
Where all is well.
Return fully to this heart space and let it shine through your body now.
Wonderful.
Allowing and accepting your fear to exist,
To overcome fear,
We must be able to first be with that fear,
To smooth the sharp edges,
Or take away the sting of its power.
We can do this by allowing ourselves to be with the fear.
To allow or accept it does not mean we have to label the fear differently,
Or tell ourselves a story about it and how it's not powerful,
Or how we must change it.
To allow it and accept it is the process of remaining calm and neutral while being with this fear.
We can do this when we remain in our heart space.
Instead of our fear being an enemy,
It can simply be an acquaintance.
We do this by not having a story about our fear,
By not thinking and labeling our fear when it arrives in our mind and body.
We do this by simply being with the fear.
You are not the fear.
You are the one holding it,
Or witnessing it.
Let's move into this practice of allowing your fear to exist now.
Without judgment,
Shame,
Or guilt.
Without any pressure to change it.
Simply allowing it to exist is an act of acceptance.
Let's do this now.
Wonderful.
Letting go of this acceptance practice and returning fully back to your heart space now.
Into this space of pure love within you.
Letting it fill you up,
From your toes to the top of your head and reaching into your fingertips.
Do this now.
Power.
With this fear,
Let's move into a position of power.
One where we utilize your human right of free will.
Here we can use creative control in the areas that are accessible to you,
In how you choose to perceive your fear,
And the story you tell yourself about it.
Fears seem like they are not within our control.
Our body and nervous system can become intertwined and affected.
However,
This was only after an experience and years of solidifying that belief in this fear that your body began to follow suit and react in fear.
We can reprogram your response and belief around your fears.
It can happen instantly,
Depending on the power you hand over to the new belief,
Or it can take some time to reprogram and trust your new belief.
Once the new belief happens,
The body will respond differently when confronted with this fear,
Because it may no longer be a fear,
The body will not respond in fear.
If you can rewrite your beliefs around this fear,
What would you change it to?
Would it be something that you feel neutral about?
Something that you feel calm about?
Or maybe even excited?
How do you want your body to respond through feelings around your fear?
I'll give you some time to contemplate and formulate your new beliefs that you want to hold around this fear.
Do this now.
Wonderful.
How do you want your mind and your thoughts to react when faced with this fear?
What positive,
Grateful,
Or neutral messages do you want your mind to instantly think when you are faced with this current fear?
Contemplate this now.
Wonderful.
If this fear was no longer a fear,
How would you act when faced with it?
Beautiful.
Return to your heart space of love once again.
Release the fear,
Or old fear,
And come back fully to rest in the center of love within you.
You are love at your core.
Be here now.

Continue to reprogram and rewrite your beliefs around this fear.
And if that feels too heavy,
Come into your heart space and give yourself a break.
Wrap yourself in love,
Because you are so worthy of it.
