The answers to many of our big questions are inside of us, and journaling can be a powerful portal to that inner wisdom. But how do you actually do it? It's very simple. Listen for the three-part method in this audio. And then, if you like, practice it for a few days in a row to strengthen your self-trust and intuition. Thank you for being here. Wishing you well on this wild journey we call Life. Rachael Xx

Hi,

So I love journaling and it's something that has helped me to develop a deeper relationship with myself and has led to many profound and also practical insights that have helped me navigate the craziness that is life on earth.

But there are many different ways to do it,

To approach journaling,

And I know a lot of people find it hard or just don't know where to start,

So today I'm going to share the intuitive guidance method.

So when we have questions or there's some uncertainty around what to do in a certain situation,

Our thinking mind,

The original problem solver,

Kicks into gear and this logical thinking is helpful sometimes.

However,

Most of our thoughts are just recycled,

Same old,

Same old,

Going around in a loop.

So you'll notice when you're trying to solve a problem and there's this sort of feeling of stuckness,

Of just being stuck,

And for me I see that as due to this kind of loop that I'm in mentally,

Where I'm just thinking the same thoughts,

Rehashing a problem,

And coming up with the same solutions,

Coming up with the same doubts,

The same fears,

The same limiting beliefs.

So it's often helpful to tap into another source of wisdom beyond the logical mind,

And in fact I feel that we're being invited by the universe,

By whatever it is that you believe in,

To make a shift from relying on information and logical thinking,

Which usually involves a lot of effort,

To reconnecting instead with our intuition and letting things be effortless.

There's so much wisdom inside of us,

And I believe that through consciousness we have access to all wisdom,

All information,

All guidance,

Whatever it is that we want to know,

We can access that information inside.

We just have to allow space to exist,

We just have to be willing to let go of our habitual thought patterns,

To be willing to sit in not knowing for a few seconds,

To be willing to shift from fixing and efforting to receiving,

From forcing to allowing,

So allowing the answers to come to us.

And journaling,

I have found,

Is a powerful portal to this intuition,

And it can be very simple.

So here are three steps to this intuitive guidance journaling malarkey.

So number one is write down a question.

So this could be broad,

Like,

What does my soul want me to know today?

Or it could be very specific,

Like,

How can I resolve xyz issue?

Or how can I better balance the need for rest along with all the responsibilities and the goals that I have?

So just kind of feeling into the emerging question,

So there's kind of,

The intuition begins with that,

With this step,

With number one,

So just feeling into what do I want to know,

And writing that down.

And number two is come into presence.

So essentially here we are creating a gap so that it's not the logical mind who responds to the question,

Because that will immediately start wanting to get involved.

So we want to create some space to connect to the us beyond the words,

Beyond the thinking mind,

Beyond all that comes with this personality.

And so we do that through just being in the present,

So taking a few conscious breaths,

Feeling into the sensations of breathing,

Feeling into the sensations in your body,

Just resting in awareness of the present moment.

We could do that for just a few seconds or minutes,

Whatever feels good,

Whatever you have,

Doesn't have to be long.

The truth is we can connect to our higher self,

To presence,

To an expansive sense of being,

Instantly.

And number three is write whatever comes through.

So don't question anything that comes up,

Just start writing.

So there might be some hesitation for a second or two,

But just put pen to paper essentially.

This isn't about figuring out the answer,

Just write,

Even if it doesn't make sense.

And keep writing until you feel complete.

So it could be just one clear statement that you write,

It could be a whole page or two.

It doesn't need to be an essay,

And sometimes it is an essay,

No right or wrong,

Just you and the guidance of your higher self.

So there it is,

Those are the three steps,

Not difficult.

Number one,

Write a question down in your journal.

Number two,

Come into presence.

Number three,

Write whatever comes through.

And if you like a challenge,

You can do this for 10 days straight,

Every morning or evening.

And the invitation is just have fun developing your intuition.

And seeing what emerges when you allow yourself to reconnect with the you that goes beyond all the day-to-day stuff of your mind.

All right,

Thank you for listening,

And yeah,

Enjoy.

Thank for this simple three step process to begin intuitive journaling. Years ago I started doing "morning pages" after reading
