The sensation of fear is a natural part of life. We need it to warn us when there’s trouble afoot. But sometimes that’s all it is - a signal that what we’re experiencing is unfamiliar. In other words - a change. Today’s affirmations are about embracing change and allowing ourselves to find out (with a curious mind) what lies on the other side of fear.

Welcome to Charm Words,

Your daily reminder to be good to yourself and others.

My name's Zola,

And together,

We're going to breathe in the good,

Breathe out the bad,

And use words to remind ourselves of our worth.

The sensation of fear is a natural part of life.

We need it to warn us when there's trouble afoot.

But sometimes,

That's all it is,

A signal that we are experiencing something unfamiliar.

In other words,

A change.

Today's Charm Words are about embracing change and allowing ourselves to find out,

With a curious mind,

What lies on the other side of fear.

Let's do some belly breathing,

Then we'll do our affirmations.

When you breathe in,

Use your nose and keep your shoulders still.

Once your belly fills up like a balloon,

Breathe out through your mouth by just letting go.

In through the nose,

Out through the mouth.

Ready?

Take a gentle,

Deep breath slowly through your nose and breathe out through your mouth.

In through your nose and out through your mouth.

Breathe in,

Breathe out.

One more time,

Breathe in and breathe out.

Today's Charm Words are,
