**Note: Truth does not always sound pleasant. If the mind is not really peaceful now, it might not be a perfect moment to listen to this podcast, one has to be aware of the emotions or reactions that can block one from listening attentively and with humility. This talk is a meditation practice. What one needs to do is listen attentively, without getting stuck in words, examine the mind in silence, not agree or disagree, just look at the mind as it is. Doing so is already a meditation practice.

To life,

This total field concerns about our existence,

Everything.

To inquire into the mind is to really understand,

To see clearly,

The disorder in life.

Our life is in disorder,

Isn't it?

All kinds of daily issues,

Immediate issues,

Problems,

Conflicts,

Are all the evidence of this disorder in life.

To inquire into the self,

Into the mind,

Is to see the disorder,

Not as an abstraction or concept,

But as what is.

What is really happening now is that the mind is in disorder.

To understand the disorder deeply is to see the movement of disorder.

Anyway,

We are dealing with what is,

Not a concept.

The concept is actually part of the disorder.

Look around,

Most of us are living in concept,

In abstraction,

Which are carried by thoughts,

By symbols,

Words,

Languages,

Images.

But life is never a concept,

Never an abstraction.

The real life is to deal with what is,

The actuality.

A mind which is trapped in concept,

In all kinds of layers of abstraction,

Can't really see what is.

Such a mind that is trapped in the numerous layers of the abstraction is automatically translating what is into another layer of abstraction.

Being unable to deal with what is,

The mind is inevitably in disorder.
