That's the other intention of asking why.
That's to observe.
The mind is eager to find out,
Not resort to new theory,
New thoughts,
But just want to find out in actuality.
And this wave of asking why propels the mind to investigate,
To look into,
To observe,
To see the movement of thoughts.
In that seeing,
In that observing,
The issue is solved.
That very seeing,
Seeing the total movement of thoughts,
Is the clarity.
Seeing the question clearly brings about the answer.
Actually,
The question and the answer is one.
But if the mind is trapped in thoughts,
The very asking why only triggers more curiosity,
More inquisitiveness,
Creating more gossips.
In thoughts,
The question and answer are separated or divided.
That's why in that state,
The very seeking the answer to the questions only creates more questions.
That's why if the mind is always asking why intellectually,
In the thoughts,
Such a mind inevitably misunderstands what is meditation.
This mental analysis is not meditation.
This intellectual inquiry is not meditation,
Because such a mind only regards meditation as an idea.
Unless the mind really observes,
Putting aside all the thoughts,
All the me-things,
Ego-things,
Really observe the self objectively.
In that observation,
Where there's no observe at all,
Everything is revealed totally.
Now you are listening to the speaker.
The speaker is making a statement.
But it's up to you to test it out,
Or else this statement is only an idea,
Another idea.
Unless you observe yourself thoroughly,
Then this statement is a fact.
