Aloha,

I'm Reverend Cindy Palos.

I wanted to talk about how you make the best of hard times because I've noticed some of us have been going through some challenging times.

I certainly have and we can look at our situation in California and you can look at the situation here in Maui and many places now there's been some really challenging times.

A lot of people make fun of people who are optimistic and say they're not realistic but optimism is one of the greatest gifts you can have.

The challenge is being able to see and believe in the opportunities that are there in challenging times.

So I guess I should really say I'm talking about opportunities in challenging times.

Now one of the things about the fields we're in in metaphysics or meditation or new age thought or whatever you want to call the times that we're in is that there's going to be a need a really great great need for people to have help in changing their perspective and if you're in the metaphysical or spiritual or new age or whatever you want to call these times in this field you are able to help people with a couple of things that can be life-changing.

One is meditation so so so important in times when you're going through all these changes and challenges.

Meditation is a lifesaver and it's so important and so easy to do that I think anyone who learns it really will tell you how important it is to them and now especially and these days especially.

Now meditation is one of the things that you find an insight timer and it's very very prevalent and there's many many many ways to do it.

I've been doing it since I've been 13 years old every day of my life and I have my own path now there's some that follow many other paths you know and it's up to you to find something that resonates with you.

I love that term resonates.

Think about that term.

What is actually touching you and sounding resonating that actually is inspiring you because we need to share inspiration at this time.

We need to help people who are completely down and depressed and need hope and how does hope tie in with meditation?

Well I think hope is a very good and important key that you learn in meditation because you learn to go out of your locked in state of mind and expand your mind and your consciousness not to just think in the way that you normally think.

In fact you stop thinking you just are kind of in a state where you're not thinking you're just being and when you're being you're opening the door to a whole new perspective when you're just being.

Now so rather than getting too complicated and into too much if you just use being meditation perspective that's so valuable so valuable for everyone right now and we know how to meditate right but there's also that key in meditation to delving into your consciousness and your stillness and in that consciousness to be able to have a different perspective to overcome the darkness and to bring in the light.

The light is so important in times where there's a lot of darkness around.

So just to do it briefly here to give you of course a little positive infusion of light and love let's just all breathe you know that's breath sweeps mind you breathe in you breathe out you just breathe you know and you will with breath find it working so quick quickly within minutes really within a few minutes if you're conscious of your breathing in and out just focus on your breath coming in and holding it and your breath coming out and releasing it so simple and such a great great key breathing in holding oh i just aligned my neck see wow i just got a nice neck crack there ah i'm just breathing out aligning the rest of your whole body sensing how you were doing with each breath how you're feeling how's your body doing from toes to calves to all of those wonderful thighs and hips and your stomach and your whole breathing apparatus there your lungs ah what a gift each breath is as you become more and more aware of your heart and your whole focus on your neck and your head your brain above your head the area of your chakras breathing in breathing out breathing in breathing out in hawaiian the word ha is breath breathing in ah breathing out nothing to do just the breath in and out be aware as you breathe of how you feel and allow your mind to be open just allow your mind to be open at some point allow yourself to feel that positive energy that is there within your self in your heart and soul is positive energy and allow it to infuse you with a wonderful energy field of good good good feelings of love ah understanding compassion light light and light surrounding yourself with that light becoming that light being that light of all lights and allow that light to be there with you now can you feel that light can you sense that light that light is one of the most important gifts and tools you can have the gift of allowing that light to surround you to be with you to lift you lift you up to that place where it's all full of soul energy and light ah breathe it in breathe in light and allow the light to be actually absorbed by all of your beingness breathing in the light breathing out the light and allowing your whole energy field and your aura to be surrounded in light now you should be sensing some energy differences in the way you feel and embrace this and realize this is one of the greatest gifts you can have to feel that love to be in that love to feel and be in that light and be grateful oh so grateful this gift this wonderful gift you have inside that's free remember this is always a powerful tool you can go to i go every morning into meditation i suggest you do that let that light and love bring you inspiration bring you hope bring you guidance that's such a great gift you can have for absolutely free god bless you and may that light and love be with you always
