Using the power of being able to focus and concentrate on what you wish to accomplish is a very important tool to use in life. There are more and more distractions that are happening through social media, and we must be able to be clear to connect with our inner self to accomplish our purpose. I do a brief talk and mediation to guide you through the valuable tools available to you to use to achieve your goals.

A very big aloha.

I am Reverend Cindy Ballas and I thought I'd talk about the importance of focusing now more than ever.

It seems to me that with all the distractions that we're getting from stuff that is online and social media especially,

That it takes a little bit more focus and concentration to get to where you want to go.

I have to say I really have found that some of the very well-thought-out campaigns to get your attention from mostly sites that want you to buy something or at least spend some time there so they can prove they have hundreds of thousands of listeners,

It's become very interesting.

So I think the good part of this is that you have to be more focused and more determined to direct your inner purpose and what you really wish to do as you use social media.

It's really an interesting process.

I've been watching it lately and I think it's so important to realize and be aware what your goal is and to spend that time that you have creating with intention your goal in life.

I have to say it's very important more than ever to stay in that place of focus within.

The inner focus helps in the outer creation but the outer creation has to be stronger than ever to be able to continue with the inner focus.

So that strengthening process,

That really important process can be learned a lot and practiced as you meditate because the mind is an interesting thing and it can get easily influenced,

Right?

And more and more people are learning how to capture your attention and your time and so you have to learn to be able to take your time,

Use your time with focus and intention.

And I think that as we go through meditation,

Going from that inner place without distraction to the place where we need to get to inside our goal of connecting with our highest self is really a very valuable one and I think becoming increasingly valuable in the practice of creation and creating what we wish to do in life.

And this happens as we meditate.

If you are aware,

I would just suggest we're going to go into meditation that you become aware of how using your mind to focus on what you wish to do will help you get to that place inside that can be free of all that distraction.

And it starts with breathing and being aware of your breath.

Now if you give your mind a task to do,

It's pretty good at following direction in that way.

And as you develop your awareness that you wish your mind to watch your breath,

You will go to that place where you're giving your mind something really useful to do.

And we start with just getting comfortable and allowing ourselves to be aware of our body and how we're sitting and our alignment and we just start with that intention in our own inner self to watch our breath.

And we slowly watch as we breathe deeply in and hold our breath for a second or two and breathe out,

Slowly breathing out.

Just doing nothing but breathing in,

Deeply breathing in and holding our breath and letting go and releasing and releasing and releasing.

Following our breath in and holding and just releasing out.

Breathing in and being aware of our breath,

Holding and releasing out.

Now continue to slowly let yourself go deeper and deeper within as you breathe in,

Hold and breathe out.

And now that you've got your mind's attention in the breathing process,

Make sure you're surrounded by a beautiful protective white light that goes way above you,

Many many feet above you and through you and down below you on either side to the left and the right of you,

Way out in front of you and behind you until you are completely surrounded in a beautiful protective white light.

And that just is very important because it keeps outside influences from coming in and as you continue now to breathe knowing you are very much in that light field of protection.

Going deeper and deeper within,

Breathing in and breathing out,

Feeling good,

Feeling wonderfully connected to your inner self.

How does it feel?

Are you aware right now of that inner connection to your highest self?

And of course your eyes are closed and you're looking within and you might watch the colors that you see on your inner eye,

Your third eye,

And watch the changing light as you're breathing in and out.

Ah,

Just feel yourself in this lovely space as you connect with that inner light.

And now let's bring in the love,

Bring in that wonderful heart of hearts.

And often our heart is closed down,

So we need to invite our heart to be present.

And we can do that with our own intention of consciousness going there within our heart of hearts,

That inner heart of hearts.

And feeling that love deep within you.

What does that inner love in your heart of heart feel like?

Allow yourself to be conscious of your love,

The inner love.

Allow that love to spread completely through you,

Making sure that all of you is filled with that lovely precious gift of love.

Now bring a smile to your face.

How do you feel with that smile in your face?

Ah,

A smile can change your point of focus of what makes you smile.

Now that love there within the heart of love and that smile on your face is really a beautiful gift you can dwell in here inside.

Connect it with that beautiful inner highest part of your soul,

Allowing your soul to be present in your heart of hearts,

In your consciousness and in your mind.

What does that heart of heart feel with that love?

Allow that inner love to completely heal anything,

Anything that needs to be healed.

Let it go deeply,

Deeply,

Deeply inside that place that needs to be healed and that wonderful safety that you've created in this special sacred area of your heart of hearts.

Ah,

Feel good,

Just feel good.

Now invite the God Presence,

The highest source of light and love.

Allow that highest source of light and love to fill your entire beingness.

Let it wash away any doubts or fears,

Anything that might have been blocking it ever.

Just be with that beautiful highest source of light and love.

Now ask your highest self,

Your soul,

To bring you any healing messages,

Any words that will guide you or help you in your life.

And bring those words back as a gift.

As you breathe in and slowly come back into your conscious mind,

Feeling good,

Feeling strong,

Feeling grateful.

And as you come back into your conscious mind,

Remember to bring those words forth and anything that might come,

Share them here,

Write them down.

Maybe it's a poem,

Maybe it's a message of some sort.

But by doing this very valuable tool of bringing it to your conscious mind,

You are building an inner bridge from your conscious awareness to that highest part of yourself.

And that bridge is a beautiful tool that you can use in life.

Because anytime you call upon it,

You can easily then connect with it.

And by writing down what comes,

You develop and strengthen that inner part,

That conscious part to the highest part of yourself.

And it's so beautiful to be able to connect with you and share.

I send you my deepest love and respect and gratitude.

Sending that love and light to you always.
