This poem explores the connection and clarity we can experience when we surrender to the universe on our daily walks. Allowing everything to have its place through the rhythm of movement, walking, can encourage healing.

Walk with me.

You can find happiness.

The earth beneath.

Every step secure.

Connected.

Each lending sharper focus.

Clarity of mind.

Heart circulating.

You are vitality.

Soul meeting this world's body.

This magnificent ground flows into your being.

Encouraging.

Your doing is good.

This proven liturgy.

You are not the first.

The path is well worn.

Wind a companion.

The soil a friend.

Life surrounding.

Its fingers waltz on your skin.

Be refreshed.

Simply.

This is perfect.

These sounds.

These movements.

This place and time.

Your tempo and breath.

Your mind.

Your heart.

Your weakness and strength.

Commune with presence.

All is as it should be.

Bathe in the divine.

That which is and allows place provides without self.

Let go.

Let in.

This healing flow.

Your thoughts thrust and returned.

What is control?

It's not important.

Just move and be moved.

Time is a pilot.

A chaperone.

Conducting this song.

This evolution.

Let your eyes scan the distance.

What colors.

Striking each turn.

Hill and mile.

A new canvas for light.

On you.

Walking upright.

Shoulders back.

Important to this scene.

A role to fill.

A member of the cast.

Meaningful in this existence.

Yet in deference you abide.

Awake to the connective tissue binding you to earth and all it holds.

Every plant,

Animal,

Insect,

And being.

Each rock,

Mineral,

Particle,

Or dust.

It is and you are.

With spirit pouring outward.

Ever outward.

Growing and swelling and compassing.

Mingling with strings to the heavens on holy ground.

You are a priest.

This walk.

Your prayer.

I live in Wyoming, out in the middle of nowhere and the way I like it, a community of trees versus a community of buildings LOL I would like to use this as one of my many meditations when I take my walk and gratitude through nature!
