You've made it.
You're on to day two.
And today in the Shifting Your Energy series,
We're gonna focus on emotions.
Have you ever wondered where emotions go in our body,
In our energy system?
I did.
I wondered because on my own healing journey and being an empath and a clairvoyant,
I'm very tapped into emotional energy.
I can feel and see and sense like reading.
It's like reading a book.
I'm able to sense into people's energy with my eyes closed.
It's a sensing and a knowing and a feeling.
But yet I had a really hard time sensing into my own emotions.
I had a hard time to tap into my body as I was disassociated from my own body.
I felt numb at times in my body.
So if we go back to the question,
Which was my deepest inquiry,
Where are all these emotions stored?
How can I release this without having to relive a story?
And how can I release it and then replace it with something maybe more beautiful?
But first let's talk about where these emotions are stored in the body.
Repressed emotions get stored in our tissues,
In our cells,
In our body.
And from the mind perspective,
When we have a thought,
Emotions then come from the mind as well,
From the limbatic system.
I know it's a lot of details but I think it's also good to have this knowledge to understand that as we create these emotions we can also dissolve these emotions.
As we understand where they reside in the body,
In the tissues,
In the cells,
We can learn to work with them.
Emotions are also passed on to us through our DNA.
Doesn't mean that we are stuck with the ancestral emotions that we take on or the coding that we take on from our parents.
It was a seed that was passed on.
And as we all know,
Like seeds,
If we water them and provide them enough sunlight and provide them the right environment,
They can change.
They could bloom into something else.
So for this exercise I would like to take you through a journey of perhaps where maybe your emotions are hiding in your body and then releasing them.
We will be using a breath.
At any time if you feel lightheaded please just back off of the breath and just breathe deeply in and out through the nose.
So this breath is the breath in through the nose and out through the mouth.
It relaxes the body,
Flips you into peace so that as you're scanning your own body and feeling into these emotions you start to release.
You start to feel safe.
I know there is no safer place than being in your own body and being in your own presence of your soul and your spirit.
So wherever you are right now I'd like you to lay down and come into a relaxed position.
Allow your body to get comfortable but I would ask that no blanket be on you as we'll be scanning our body.
All you need is your breath in your hands again and total awareness.
Consciousness and awareness is key to this work.
Simplistic as it may be through my words,
The profound transformation that can happen if you're totally dialed in in complete awareness.
And as I mentioned before we all interact with energy differently.
You can use your sense of visualization,
You can use your sense of knowing,
Or your sense of feeling into your body.
For this exercise I would like you to practice a little bit about feeling into your body even if you get a visualization.
Okay laying down with your eyes closed let's start our breath in through our nose and out through our mouth.
Let's take some deep breaths here.
And continue at this pace.
I'd like for you to use your hands both your hands hovering over the top of your body starting from the pelvic area moving slowly up the body ending at the top of the head.
Take your time we're all going to stop at a different place on our body.
Okay so go ahead scan up the body and what you're looking for something that feels kind of similar to the last video something that feels stuck or tight or not right in your body.
The body will speak to you as you feel maybe some pain or some tension or some tingling or something that doesn't feel really good.
This is where our emotions will be trapped.
Once you find this position,
Breathe into it the same way in through the nose and out through the mouth.
Bring your hand down to that position that you found and as you inhale kind of almost like moving your body into it so that you really get that felt sensation.
So inhaling moving the body in and exhaling through the mouth kind of sinking into your bodies.
If you're like sinking into the floor but your hands sinking in and through your body almost.
If your hand was going into the body so inhaling raising exhaling sinking like your hand could go through the body sinking into the body and just notice what you notice here.
Feel what you feel sense what you sense.
Just get comfortable with that a couple more times breathing in kind of lifting the body in that area exhaling through the mouth kind of pushing down with your hand as if your hand was sinking into that part of your body and now we will bring sound in.
Sound and vibration moves energy.
If this place had a sound how would it sound?
Now usually when people first come into this practice you hear a very kind of quiet sound like but I would ask that you let go and that whatever sound wants to come out.
So for me when I did this exercise the other day I stopped near my chest area and even if I tap into it right now what is the sound that wants to come out from me?
I want you to find the sound no one can hear you usually in my classes everyone can hear each other.
Make a sound even if it starts off low keep going with that sound because in those emotions and in those tissues there could be stored anger,
Frustration,
Sadness,
Grief all of those emotions you just need to give them a sound.
So I'm gonna let you go ahead and breathe in through your nose and as you push down exhale to the sound like all the way out.
The stronger you allow yourself to surrender to the sound without thinking about it the more profound this transformation will be.
So go ahead and sink into this sound into that part of your body giving it a voice.
That's it keep going you'll be surprised what comes out it almost goes full circle behind every sadness and grief is anger behind every anger is grief and sadness full circle behind frustration behind feeling stuck.
There's an energy of frustration an energy feeling stuck but by breathing in and making a sound we loosen it and we can shift the energy.
So go on and shift that energy that life force you're in control of it.
And you can stay here for as long as you want but only when the sound has completed itself the first time I stayed there for 20 minutes only when the sound has completed itself you can either move to a different part of the body or you can just lay there breathing normal in and out through the nose.
Take your time with the exercise if you don't feel anything because you're not used to feeling things in your body or you're disconnected know it sense it and go back and try it again.
Okay keep going and when you're done give it two to three minutes to integrate after and just come back to a quiet space and I will see you tomorrow again.
You you you
