Hello my friend,
If you're listening to this meditation it's probably because you're taking a break from work.
Either a quick midday break or you're on your lunch.
Either way,
Welcome to taking a few minutes to meditating with me.
If you can find somewhere nice where you can sit where you won't be disturbed.
If possible try and be outside.
Somewhere where you can get some fresh air.
Maybe stare at the sky as we talk.
If that's impossible for your situation maybe you can be around other people but soften your gaze and stare off into space somewhere.
Finding a point that you can focus on.
It's time to take a break from the routine.
From the daily grind of whatever it is that you're doing.
Connect to your breath.
Take a nice big deep breath in.
Breathing in through your nose and out through your nose.
That way you can be around a bunch of people and you don't look like you're obviously breathing deeply in and out.
Nice big deep long slow breath in through your nose.
Feel your tummy expand and then breathe out nice and slow.
On this next breath in imagine that you're breathing in open space.
Blank open space.
Fill in your lungs with fresh open clean air and when you exhale breathe out as if you're breathing out any traces of your office or the work environment that seems to linger on your clothes and your skin and your body.
Breathe in and imagine that you're in a big wide open expansive space.
No restrictions.
No time limits.
No obligations.
No rules.
No co-workers.
Just a big blank space all around.
You're breathing that energy into your body and as you do so you can feel your cells open and expand as if they're soaking in the sun.
Cleansing your body.
Breathing out.
Breathe out any stuffiness,
Any irritation,
Any feeling of claustrophobia,
Any feeling of heavy weighted down responsibility.
Imagine you breathe it out.
Release.
Right now in this moment you're completely free.
Free from all of that.
Right now in this moment you can just be sitting comfortably nice and calm with an open mind.
This is your little escape and it doesn't matter if it's one minute or 20 minutes.
Let yourself breathe in that open free expansive space and breathe out any constriction,
Any obligation.
If it resonates with you,
You could imagine that you're in a white room.
White walls.
White floors.
Everything around you is white.
Completely empty.
No clutter.
No people.
Just you.
Taking a break.
Enjoying your break.
Being present in every moment and every breath.
And this little break of yours is filling your cup.
Recharging your battery.
Making you feel good.
Stay here for as long as you need to my friend.
Namaste.
