Guided Mantra Meditation: Om Nama Shivaya. I offer to Shiva a respectful invocation of His Name. Shiva is the supreme reality, the inner Self. It is the name given to consciousness that dwells in all. Shiva is the name of your true identity- your self. Shiva, though considered as destroyer, also symbolize the – the inner self which remains. There is a 108 repetition of the mantra without music and only a voice, but with guidance before and after the repetition available as well. Soon a 108 repetition of this mantra will be available without guidance.

Namaste,

This is Deva Vasudha.

Welcome to the exploration of the mantra Om Namah Jivaya.

This mantra affirms the assistance of the immortal self,

Living in a mortal body.

When I was a little girl,

A young woman,

I was raised in a Catholic way.

When I turned thirty-nine,

I heard the Gayatri mantra.

This mantra calls for celestials to shine their light of awakened consciousness,

An ever burning flame in our hearts.

Since that day,

I experience God or Jivaya,

Allah,

The Divine,

It doesn't matter how you call it,

I experience it through all there is.

It's in me,

In you,

In all beings.

When we chant the name Jiva,

We give it our vibrations.

When we make a study of the vibrations,

We make a study of the universe.

Jiva is so close to the universe.

Jiva stands for awareness.

Jiva stands for your third eye.

Actually,

It's breaking down all we have built,

So we can break down our ego.

And from there,

More open to the universe or higher self.

We will get closer to the God who is all,

Who is in all of us,

Who is one with us,

Who is the study of the vibrations when you're chanting.

Enlightenment is literal,

A spiritual light which fulfills light in produced sound.

So let us chant together and take this opportunity to make that sound and honor,

In this case,

Jiva.

By reciting the words Om Nama Jivaya 108 times.

Don't mind the counting,

I will count for you.

Make sure you will sit in a comfortable position with a straight spine.

Make sure you have an environment that allows you to give all your intention and attention to the words you are chanting.

Take a deep breath in and out.

Once more in and out.

And let us chant together.

Om Nama Jivaya.

Om Nama Jivaya.

Om Nama Jivaya.

Om Nama Jivaya.

Om Nama Jivaya.

By taking a deep breath or moving your fingers or hands,

Your toes,

Your feet,

Maybe open your eyes,

You slowly get back in the space where you are.

While you are doing that,

Stay connected with the emptiness of your deepest core.

All activities are outside.

Your deepest core is nothing.

Imagine that you are the clear,

Clear sky.

Be that sky.

Be clear like the sky.

Only the sky is not touched by human hands,

So experience how you can stay connected with the universe,

With Shiva,

Awareness.

Feel how you get bigger.

You expand until you are the whole sky,

The universe.

You can see the movements of the clouds,

The moon,

The stars towards you,

Inwards.

You are the universe.

You are awareness.

You are not your ego.

Between the sounds of chanting a mantra,

There is silence,

Even if it's only for a nanosecond.

Those silences are small meditations of great worth.

I recommend,

After chanting a mantra,

To sit in silence for at least ten minutes.

Experience what the mantra has done for you,

In silence.

I'd like to add something to this mantra.

What I'd like to add are some words you can say after you practice any mantra.

The words are May the merits I received by reciting this mantra be of benefit for all beings.

May all beings be happy.

May all beings be free.

May all beings be liberated.

And in this case,

May all beings benefit from the awareness of this mantra.

Have a beautiful day,

Evening or night.

All blessings to you.

Namaste.

I love your chanting meditations, thank you so much for sharing them. I have been doing them for a long time and now my 5 yr old daughter joins me in them about 3-4 days in the week. She is a lighworker too so it is assisting her in her connection and development in this life. ❤️❤️❤️
