Namaste sannyasa family and everyone.
A very warm welcome to all of you in this daily live meditation session with me,
Dhyanse.
We're meditating on 112 meditation techniques of Vidyana,
Bhairava,
Tantra.
It happened once,
A man who had never seen a train.
For the very first time,
He entered a train because he had to take the journey.
So for the very first time,
He entered into a train with his luggage on top of his head.
While he was in the train standing or sitting,
He always carried that luggage on top of his head.
For hours on this journey,
He was always carrying this luggage,
His bag that he had on top of his head.
Someone asked him,
Why are you carrying this bag,
This luggage that you have on top of your head?
The man said,
I only bought the ticket for myself.
I don't have the ticket for the luggage.
And if this train is already filled with so many people,
It is already carrying so much weight of these people and of me.
I don't want to give the weight of my bag to the train.
Let me carry that weight.
And who knows if I put this bag somewhere,
Will I get it back?
Will someone take it away?
Let me carry this bag on top of my head.
We are also carrying this bag,
This luggage,
All throughout our lives,
On top of our head.
This mind we are always carrying on top of our head.
We never let this mind down for a while.
We don't put this luggage,
This burden that we are carrying on top of us,
Ever,
Even for a second away from us.
If we learn to do that,
If we learn to put this burden of the mind,
Just even for a few minutes,
A few seconds,
Somewhere,
A new dimension opens up.
The dimension of the weightless,
The dimension of the sky.
In this unburdening from the mind,
A completely new dimension of the sky opens up for you,
Where your consciousness can rise in the sky.
This dimension that becomes available to you the moment you put this burden of the mind that you are carrying 24-7 on top of yourself,
And you let that down even for a few seconds.
Meditation is that process.
Meditation is that way where you put this burden of the mind,
This is what you are carrying intentionally,
Unintentionally,
Holding on to this burden constantly,
Hoping that nothing is lost,
And not allowing this dimension of the sky to open up for you.
So meditation is what opens up this dimension of the sky.
I am not sure if Red Bull makes you fly or not,
But meditation makes you fly in this dimension of the sky.
Also,
At the same time,
It brings you into the ground,
It brings you rooted into the ground,
It keeps you rooted into the ground,
It gives you these two polarities,
This dimension of the sky,
Where you have the wings of your consciousness unfolding into the sky,
And also being rooted in the ground,
In the reality,
In the truth.
Because if it was just a matter of unleashing the consciousness,
There are several ways in which people attempt to unleash their consciousness,
But when they fall back on the ground,
Then that fall is what you cannot live on a daily basis.
I am talking about psychedelics or other ways in which one forces this consciousness to experience something of the sky,
One throws oneself into the sky,
But unless you learn to be in the sky,
Also rooted in earth,
Also rooted in ground,
You are bound to fall and have a hard fall.
Therefore meditation is that way which gives you the balance of these two polarities,
Of having this dimension of sky,
Of consciousness,
And also rootedness in the truth,
In the reality,
In the practicalities of daily life.
If only you learn how to unburden your mind,
If only you learn how to put this mind for a few seconds away from you,
And live these two dimensions,
One is of the form of the earth and of the formless of this consciousness.
You are both this form and this formlessness,
And unless you live both,
You have missed something.
If you just live formless,
You miss the form.
If you just live the form,
You miss the vastness of the formlessness.
You are both this form and this formlessness,
But you do not understand that.
You cannot understand that just within this sphere of the mind,
Within this burden of the mind.
Imagine in a few years,
If the mad scientist is able to produce a clone of you.
Someone,
A robot,
Looks exactly like you,
Having the same skin,
Having the same physical structure,
Having the same physical movements,
And also the same mind that you have,
The same thoughts that you have,
The same emotions that you are experiencing,
The way you express yourself,
The way you speak,
The way your gestures are,
The way you smile.
If everything about your mind and about your body is replicated by the mad scientist,
Just imagine for a moment,
If something like that is possible,
Where there is a clone in front of you,
Who has the same body,
Has the same features,
Same mind,
Would that clone be you or not you?
Yes or no?
Think about it.
This clone which has the same body as you,
Same mind as you,
In front of you,
Is that clone you or not?
The answer is yes and no.
The form is,
If it is the same,
The answer is yes.
In the form,
For the form,
You can replicate the form,
You can replicate the body,
You can replicate the mind.
But the answer,
The no,
Is the formless.
This inner answer that you have when you say no,
When you imagine this,
This no is coming from that which cannot be replicated,
Which is formless,
Which is something that is non-physical.
Everything that is physical,
Sooner or later,
Can be replicated.
But something that is non-physical,
That something that is not an identity,
Even an identity is something physical,
Something which says no in you when you imagine a clone having the same body and the same mind.
From where that no is coming,
That is significant.
From where the yes is coming is significant for the scientist.
From where the no is coming is significant for you,
Is significant for life,
Is significant to understand who we really are.
Are we just this flesh of body and this few things that we call as mind,
The thoughts,
The emotions,
The sensations,
The sense of identity,
Is this only who we are?
The mad scientist,
Once again,
Is on this now utopic journey to create a way,
A digital way in which the mind,
Your mind could be uploaded into an AI,
Into a digital world,
Giving you the dreams of an eternal life,
Giving you a sensation that you,
Who are you?
Just some flesh,
Some meat,
Some weight and an inefficient machinery called mind.
Let us give you an eternal mind,
A powerful mind.
Let us upload your mind into this digital eternity and you will live forever and you can think of whatever you want to think and you can experience whatever you want to experience.
This scientific utopia of replicating the mind and calling it consciousness is coming in a few years and you can hear the signs of it from here and there where the mad scientist who only lives in the mind,
Who only lives in the physical,
Who only lives in the form,
Who is missing out on the essential formlessness,
Who is missing out on this essential non-physical,
Something that is so obvious but cannot be grasped with the mind,
Cannot be grasped with the instruments,
This mad scientist is calling the mind as consciousness and is offering you this new possibility and all these types of things are coming.
If only you would be able to put your mind for a few seconds,
The burden of all this mind aside for a few seconds,
You come to terms with reality.
Your consciousness is unleashed in the dimension of the sky and you are rooted in the truth,
In the reality that you are more than just the body,
Just the mind.
And all these meditations,
All the effort here in these sessions is to get you to that,
To that click,
To that state,
To that experience.
None of these words are fully correct but to somehow take you from that physical to that experience of the non-physical,
From the manifest to the unmanifest,
From the form to the formless,
These meditations are not for your improvement of the form so that your body becomes more flexible from the yoga or your mind becomes more sharper from the silence of meditation.
All these are by-products but what is being imparted here,
What is being attempted here is to direct you towards the formless,
Towards the non-physical that you are,
Unless you recognize that we are moving towards a world where we are robots of just body and mind and we will lose something of the truth,
Something of that very,
Very essential who we really are.
Let us listen to what Bhairava has to give us as a technique from Vigyan Bhairav Tantra for today and practice this in our silence for the next minutes.
Bhairava says,
Meditate on the space formed by curving the arms and hands into a circle and let your mind be absorbed in that void.
Let me repeat,
Meditate on the space formed by curving the arms and hands into a circle and let your mind be absorbed in that void.
Two things,
One,
This meditation is how you can let your mind be absorbed because as long as you keep this mind all the time,
The burden of this mind on top of your head,
You are never going to be able to enter meditation,
To enter something that is non-physical,
Something that is formless.
So this meditation is directly addressing how you can absorb your mind.
Where do you absorb the mind?
In the void,
In the emptiness.
And the second part of this technique is to use your sense of the physical to direct you to the sense of the non-physical,
The sense of the form to direct you to the sense of the formless.
How to do that?
In this easy posture or while you are even sitting on a chair.
You are creating this circle with your hand,
With your upper body.
When you take your right hand,
Put it on top of your left hand and put this in your lap.
A circle is created in between your shoulders,
Your chest,
Your abdomen,
In your hands.
And this circle,
This sense,
This physical sense of circle is an enclosure,
Is a space.
If you bring your mind to this space,
Suddenly you transcend from the physical to the non-physical,
From the form to the formless.
Why?
Because your mind gets absorbed in this void.
And in the esoteric version of things,
You are bringing your awareness to all these chakras from Vishuddhi all the way down to Muladhara.
When you make this circle and you become aware of this circle that is formed in this posture,
In this easy posture with your hands,
In your lap,
With your right hand on top of your left hand,
And keeping your awareness in this region below your throat until this circle ends with your hands.
So let us practice this.
Let us bring our awareness to the physical.
Let the mind be absorbed in the void and move from physical to the non-physical.
Please close your eyes.
Take a posture that is comfortable for you,
A sitting posture where you can keep your hands in your lap.
With your right hand on top of your left hand,
Shoulders relaxed,
Head,
Neck and back aligned.
And relax.
Bringing your awareness to this circle,
To this space created by your hands,
In between your neck and your hands,
Your chest,
Your abdomen,
This entire space.
Pay attention to the boundaries of this circle.
From your neck to your shoulders,
To your arms,
To your palm.
Let the mind be absorbed in the void and move from physical to the non-physical.
And from these boundaries of the circle to the space within the circle,
Bringing your mind from all directions into this space of nothing in particular but this entire space.
Now can you take a moment and take a look at this?

Letting your mind absorb in this emptiness and your awareness expanding along this emptiness.
Letting your thought,
Your ideas,
Your inner conversations be absorbed in this space.
Letting your thought,

Letting your thought,

Your inner conversations be absorbed in this space.
Letting your thought,
Your ideas,
Your inner conversations be absorbed in this space.
Letting go of all visualization,
Of all effort and simply stay in this silence,
In this awareness.
Letting go of all of this awareness.
Letting go of all of this awareness.
Letting go of all of this awareness.
Awareness slowly back to the form,
To the circle,
To the body.
Letting go of all of this awareness.
While maintaining this centeredness and this sense of expansion,
This sense of emptiness,
Nothingness,
Very gently and slowly you may open your eyes.
Taking this balance,
These two worlds,
The world of the sky,
Of the consciousness and the world of the earth,
The centering of the grounding in your daily life.
