Inspired by a technique learned in a book I read last year, I will guide you through this meditation in order to face an issue or a feeling which is causing you discomfort, stress, or imbalance. We will breathe together and consider whatever the issue is from a different perspective in order to detach ourselves from what we are not. Thank you for the piano music called Serena and performed by Sphéria.

Hello.

This is a breath meditation to work on some feelings or issues that we would like to get rid of.

It involves a process during this meditation but then later on some effort and some work from each of us.

First of all let's start breathing.

We're going to do five breaths together.

It doesn't matter if the breaths are through the nostrils or through your mouth.

Whatever you feel more comfortable with.

We're going to release,

Relax.

Our body will feel more relaxed and especially our mind.

Let's start.

One more.

Now slowly and without giving too much information or importance to whatever the issue or feeling is,

Let's start thinking about it.

But let's focus on something small.

It doesn't have to be anything huge or too complicated.

This exercise is called Spot,

Stop Sweat.

So first of all we're going to spot the feeling or issue.

Then we're going to stop.

We're going to keep breathing and breathing and breathing in order to calm our body and mind.

Then we're going to approach the feeling in a different way.

We're not going to try to deny it but through the breaths we're going to try to see the issue or feeling from a different perspective.

Like it doesn't belong to us.

It actually doesn't.

Because we're not the feeling.

We're not the issue.

And then the final step is called Sweat.

Because through the breaths and through looking at these from a different perspective we will be able to detach from it even even more.

So let's breathe.

Stop whatever it is and keep breathing and breathing and breathing.

Look at it.

It's annoying you.

You're not that.

Keep breathing.

Look at this feeling or issue again.

Look at this feeling.

Slowly you'll see that it goes.

Because you're not that feeling or issue.

Do not load that on your shoulders.

It doesn't belong to you.

It's not you.

Let's keep breathing.

If you keep a journal it would be interesting,

Good and helpful to write down this feeling or issue.

And if you have five more minutes or so maybe write down some other issues or feelings that are causing you stress,

Anxiety,

Discomfort.

Day after day you'll see that these feelings or issues are going to be less and less.

Your perspective has changed.

You're not gonna look at them in the same way.

Because you're not those feelings or issues.

You are you,

Not them.

Always remember to spot,

Stop,

Breathe,

Breathe and breathe and then swap.

Let's take five more breaths together before we say bye to each other.

I'm gonna leave you with a beautiful quote by Mikao.

Thank you,

Thank you so much for taking the time to work on yourselves,

To join me.

I hope you have a wonderful day and to let these feelings and issues go.

Namaste.
