Now whether you've found this meditation through one of my Reiki courses or just through the web of life,
Welcome!
These meditations are intended to deepen your relationship to your intuition and gifts,
And facilitate an understanding of your own internal landscape.
Each meditation is also a tool that can be offered to yourself or a client,
So I invite you to notice what shifts within you before,
During,
After,
Beyond the meditation,
Cataloging the effects with words and feelings and sensations.
Just letting yourself take note.
Allow it to be personal and universal.
Let's begin!
And today we are going to explore our aura.
So go ahead and just find comfort in your body,
Whether that's seated or laying down or standing,
And just starting to let yourself drop in to the present moment,
Releasing the day,
Allowing yourself to anchor into right here,
One breath at a time,
Relaxing any muscles in the face,
The neck,
The shoulders,
The belly,
And letting the mind relax too.
And in this little aura meditation,
We will invite in a picture in the mind,
And this is just one way to tap into the aura.
There are many different ways,
But today we just focus on what we imagine to be the most ideal,
The most whole aura,
And then also notice what you see,
What comes into your mind's eye,
And how that differs from this ideal aura.
So just go ahead and continuing to relax the mind,
Letting any little muscles in the brain,
The head,
The mind to release.
And just start to picture yourself,
Maybe just as you are looking at yourself in your mind's eye,
Like you are out in front of you,
And just picturing your whole body,
Maybe noticing what you're picturing,
Are you in the same position as you are right now,
Are you in the same outfit,
The same place.
And if your mind's eye wants to orient you differently,
To picture you a little more easily,
Just allow yourself to do that.
There's no wrong way to picture right now,
Or ever,
Really.
And then in the mind's eye,
As you gaze at yourself,
We start to invite in the idea of this ideal aura.
And today,
Let's just say that the ideal aura presents as this brilliant white light all around the body,
Encompassing you from head to toe,
Left to right,
Top to bottom,
Full sphere around you.
That is the most well-adjusted aura right now.
And just invite that visual in,
That idea in,
As you gaze at yourself,
And just see what parts of imagining this full aura arrive in your mind with ease.
Can you see this full,
Beautiful,
Brilliant white light all around you?
Or perhaps you notice where that white light isn't fully able to be pictured with ease.
Maybe you notice a pocket where it has disappeared.
Maybe you notice where a different color wants to come in as you ask your mind's eye to picture this.
Maybe there's a texture difference,
A density difference.
What can you notice?
Getting really into the minutiae here of what you are picturing.
Just noticing,
Letting this be a little experiment,
Releasing any stories that take you out of the present moment.
Inviting in this big,
Beautiful,
Perfect aura and seeing what actually comes up to you.
Scrolling around the body in your mind's eye,
What do you see?
How does it differ from this ideal aura of fullness and wholeness?
Mapping it out.
Maybe a visual comes into your mind.
Maybe there are emotions attached as you view the aura,
Just noticing everything that comes into your awareness as you try to picture this aura.
Releasing the space between the eyebrows,
Relaxing the jaw,
Continuing to breathe nice and slow,
Staying open.
Good.
Then maybe,
Just maybe,
You start to send your breath to those places in the aura around you,
Seeing if you can just breathe a little life to the aura.
And perhaps you start to allow some clarity in as you view the aura in this way,
Seeing where all of the differences are in relation to that ideal aura.
Maybe if you're noticing a texture change in that left side of the body,
You can consider that feminine side of you and how that might be lacking in ways.
Maybe you let it link to the chakra system.
Maybe you notice a emerald green light wanting to exist around the heart.
Maybe the emotion behind that is love and care and there's no need or feeling to adjust it.
You can welcome that in.
No wrong answers here.
Just noticing what you notice and then getting curious about what that might mean,
How that can apply to you,
Your life,
The way you are living,
Thinking,
Acting,
Being.
And then whenever you are ready to just wrap up this noticing of the aura,
You can gently let the mind's eye relax,
Letting yourself anchor back into your breath more fully.
Deep breath in,
Long breath out.
Taking a moment to carry what you experienced,
What you saw,
What you sensed with you today.
Letting it speak to you in some way.
Letting it be personal.
Letting it inform you.
And whenever you're ready to rejoin the day,
You can gently blink the eyes open.
Maybe still feeling a little bit of that tingling of the aura around you.
