In a world increasingly reliant on pharmaceutical solutions for emotional pain, we must explore the root cause: a global crisis of disconnection. This talk explores the relationship between loneliness and the rise of antidepressant use. We discuss why medication can be a helpful temporary bridge, but why it shouldn't become a permanent lifestyle that blocks our emotions and our intuition.

Do you know how many people are in antidepressants today?

18 to 19 billion people.

Billion.

Imagine how well pharmaceutical companies are doing and how badly human beings are doing.

Antidepressants is what people need when there's a lack of connection.

When you are connected with love to yourself and others,

You do not need antidepressants.

Where there's loneliness,

You need antidepressants.

This is why I recommend self-compassion practices and compassion practices.

I was prescribing antidepressants when I was in my early 20s and I took them for two,

Three months.

I started doing very serious compassion practices.

I stopped doing them.

Since then,

It helped so many people get off antidepressants.

If there's a big tragedy in your life,

Yes,

Take antidepressants.

Temporarily take antidepressants.

What really concerns me is when it's a lifestyle and people are super,

Super,

Super,

Super medicated and when like antidepressants is the new multivitamin.

Guys,

Right now antidepressants is the new multivitamin.

Let's do something about it.

Connect from the heart.

I work with people to connect from the heart so they can get off antidepressants.

If that's you,

Contact me.

There are practices you could be doing to not be on antidepressants.

Again,

No reason,

No shame being on them.

It was probably helpful for some part of your life.

Do not stay on them forever because they help in some ways.

They block out other emotions.

They harm you.

It disconnects you from yourself and really everything like sleeping pills,

Tons of alcohol use,

A lot of caffeine use,

Antidepressants.

It disconnects you from yourself which means you're disconnected from your intuition and there's nothing more important than your intuition.
