Hello and welcome back to Unleash Your Peace.

My name is Ellie Shoja.

I am your host.

I am a positive mindset coach,

A personal transformation expert,

And a deliberate creator.

And I am your peace trainer.

And this podcast here,

Unleash Your Peace,

Is sort of a peace training.

Every single week,

We pick a different topic that we dive into over five episodes released Monday through Friday.

And each of these topics takes us deeper and deeper into ourselves,

Into our inner being,

Into that infinite,

Non-physical,

Potential part of us that holds all of the answers.

It holds the potential of what and who we are.

And the whole goal here is to start shedding all this weight of the unwanted pain we're carrying so that we can find lasting internal peace and live our best lives yet.

When you live from that place of joy and peace and connectedness to the greater part of yourself,

To your inner being,

You don't just incrementally improve the quality of your life.

You actually exponentially innovate every aspect of your experiences on this physical plane.

And that is exactly what my wish for you is.

I want you to level up.

I want you to become your whole beautiful,

Powerful self because that's how you become an uplifter in your community,

In your family.

And that trickles out into the world.

And this is how we level up as a society,

One person at a time,

Each of us doing this individual work and allowing the effects of it to trickle out into the world around us.

Now this week's topic was such a huge one.

I say was because today is our last day together.

Day five,

The conclusion of this week's topic,

Which was gratitude.

What a beautiful,

Beautiful topic.

I asked you on day one to wake up every day and say thank you.

Have the first two words out of your mouth be thank you.

And then to put a smile on your face and to feel and cultivate that feeling of gratitude first thing in the morning and then see how your day goes.

And I hope you've been doing that.

And if you have been doing that,

Send me a message,

Put a comment on this podcast episode.

Let me know how that goes,

How that went,

How your days have unfurled as you start them with gratitude and hopefully prioritizing gratitude throughout your day as well.

And then throughout the week,

We also talked about the connection between gratitude and creativity,

The connection between gratitude and how much influence you actually have over other people,

That it increases your influence in work environments.

It's really good for your bottom line.

That was yesterday's topic.

And then on day two,

I also gave you some tips on how to raise your vibration so that you can find yourself in the vicinity of gratitude if you are so far away from it that you can't find a single thing to feel grateful for.

Now today,

I want to conclude this topic by having a little bit of a real talk with you.

All of this work that we do,

All this internal work that we do takes an incredible amount of discipline.

It takes mental discipline because our minds are designed to think first of all.

And then the second thing is that most people in our society,

On our planet at this moment in time,

I don't think this is going to be true for the future.

However,

In this moment in time,

Most people are not living the lives of their dreams.

And most people are not only not living the lives of their dreams,

But they don't even know that they have control over their lives.

They don't even know that they are creating their lives.

They are creating a life of default,

Reactively.

They're allowing their thoughts,

Their physical sensations and their emotions to drive their lives.

So most people essentially are sleepwalking.

They don't even know the power inside of them.

They don't know that they are the creators of their realities.

They don't know that they are the creators of this universe,

That they are here to create,

To experience expansion,

And that all of this is supposed to be fun and it's supposed to be easy for us.

Most people do not know this or it's not that they don't know it.

They have forgotten it.

They haven't remembered it yet.

And that is the thing.

They haven't remembered it yet.

Doesn't mean they're not going to in the future.

But what does that mean for you?

What that means for you is that to go down this path into the self and to live life differently than what society deems acceptable takes an incredible amount of discipline and it takes an incredible amount of courage and willingness.

It is very easy to drop into the woe is me mentality in our current society.

You can call up anyone and you can complain about everything that is going wrong in your life and they will not only lend a willing ear to your stories but they will start adding fuel to the fire until the fire is raging so hugely within you that the momentum of it feels almost impossible to stop.

What takes discipline,

However,

Is to constantly and consistently look at every situation through the lens of compassion,

Through the lens of love,

Through the lens of possibility,

Through the lens of hope,

Through the lens of these high vibrational emotions,

Through the lens of gratitude.

Gratitude is such a powerful tool in lifting you out of any such situation no matter what horrible thing you might be in.

If you can see something within it to feel grateful for rather than feel hopeless about then you are halfway there already.

And that takes discipline,

That takes willingness,

That takes courage.

You already know where the path of woe is me leads you.

It has led you into every ditch that you have found yourself in.

We already know where it leads us to carry pain with us for years and for decades and decades our bodies literally start breaking down when we do that.

Our bodies are not made for carrying that much pain and stress and anxiety with us.

If you've been listening to this podcast I hope you've picked up on this theme here that every episode,

Every topic is chosen deliberately to help you see how powerful you actually are,

How much the intentionality with which you live your life affects the quality of your life.

You are the center of this universe.

You are the chooser of your destiny and you have come here to choose the experience that you want to have and I want you to be able to do that but we cannot do that by beating the drum of this happened to me,

The other thing happened to me,

Look at how horrible this thing is and yada,

Yada,

Yada.

Regardless of the situation your willingness to find something to feel grateful about is the true measure of your desire to improve the quality of your life.

So if you are in a situation and you are unwilling to find something to feel grateful for,

That resistance to gratitude,

That resistance to feeling better is how much you are in love with your suffering,

How much you don't want to release it and we do that for a variety of reasons.

Sometimes releasing a story that has made you suffer for decades can mean invalidating who you are.

If your identity is tied to this event that hurt you so deeply that you have become identified with it in your own mind,

Then releasing that story might make you feel like you are losing your very identity but your identity is no event,

No thing,

No person.

Your identity I hope you're realizing through this podcast and through the internal work that you're doing,

Your identity is what you are.

You're not even human.

You are non-physical having a human experience.

This body that you have is simply here to help you have the experience of expansion that you want to have.

At your core,

You are so much,

So much more.

So next time you're in a situation where you're fighting,

Finding something to feel grateful for within a situation that's causing you suffering,

Tell yourself that.

This is how much in love I am with my suffering.

And if you're not in love with your suffering,

If you are willing to release it,

How much umph you put behind,

How much willingness you put behind.

Wow! This was so powerful. When you asked "how much in love with your suffering are you?" that really made me stop and think about the times that I've let myself stay in the suffering instead of finding something to be grateful for.
