Hello and welcome back to Unleash Your Peace.

My name is Ali Shoja.

I am your host.

I am a positive mindset coach,

A personal transformation expert,

A deliberate creator,

And I am your peace trainer.

Now Unleash Your Peace,

This podcast over here is your peace training.

Every single week,

We dive into a different topic about the internal world.

We do that over the course of five episodes published Monday through Friday.

And the whole point of this is to go inward because that's where your peace resides.

Your peace is never outside of you.

It's always inside of you.

And when we look inward for it,

We start shedding all of this excess weight of this unwanted pain you're carrying so that you can live in peace and live your best life yet.

When we live from this place of joy and peace and connectedness to that infinite non-physical potential part of ourselves,

We don't just incrementally improve the quality of our lives.

We actually exponentially innovate every aspect of our experiences on this physical plane.

We level up in a major way.

We become whole.

We become our potential selves.

And we become powerful creators capable of living the lives of our dreams and we become uplifters and inspirers in our communities.

And that trickles out into society.

And next thing you know,

We are leveling up as a human race.

And that is my wish for us,

For all of us.

Now this week we are talking about fear,

A really big topic.

And I've tried to pick kind of angles of fear that maybe are not so common when we do talk about these topics.

I do that with every topic that we cover so that you get something that maybe you haven't heard before and something a little bit thought-provoking and inspiring.

So this week we started by kind of talking about what Napoleon Hill considers the six basic fears and what I consider fear to be that it is rooted in our understanding of death.

Essentially,

When we make death real,

That's when fear is born.

That's what fear is born out of.

We talked about the fear of success.

We talked about how fear manifests itself as anxiety and as depression when we extend time and how shrinking time can actually kind of reduce and even eliminate fear for us.

And then yesterday we talked about boundaries versus walls.

So walls are built by fear and boundaries are built by love and what is the difference.

And you do want boundaries,

You don't want walls.

And how do you go about doing that?

If you missed all of that,

Definitely go back and listen to them.

They're really fun,

Compelling episodes.

Now today I want to kind of talk about symptoms of fear because a lot of times we all have these grand ideas.

We have these ideas that we want to execute in the world.

There are things that we want to create in the world and sometimes what happens is as we get excited,

The next day we have absolutely no motivation at all.

And the day after that we feel very resistant to doing actually the things that we need to be doing.

So all of that resistance,

All of that lack of motivation,

All of that talking ourselves out of it,

All of that is rooted in fear.

There's some kind of a fear underneath all of that behavior,

All of those symptoms.

And we mentioned before that the ego uses fear to keep us from our dreams,

To keep us kind of shackled to whatever is familiar because to the ego,

If we step outside of what is familiar,

We threaten the ego because there's this threat of us actually transcending our physicalness and stepping into our beingness and creating actually what we want to create and realizing that we are deliberate creators.

We have that capability within us to think about and create whatever it is we want to create.

So when the ego sees the threat of that happening,

It plants little fears beneath everything and then that fear translates,

Transforms into behavior that on the surface looks like we are sabotaging whatever it is that we want.

So we want to lose weight and we eat a box of chocolates.

We want to become fit and we stop going to the gym.

We want to become successful at our business,

But we don't follow through with the obligations with the things that we know we need to do.

So what do we do in those situations?

And what I have found is if the momentum,

And we've talked about momentum before,

If the momentum of the negative action and the negative emotions you're taking is really high.

There's a lot of momentum going into that.

So I'm actively,

Actively thinking about all of the reasons why I would be terrible at this thing that I really want to be doing.

I'm actively thinking about all the reasons why this is not going to work out and I'm going to fail and I'm actively engaged and feeling like I'm a complete failure and this is never going to work out and nobody cares and blah,

Blah,

Blah.

All of those things that the ego says to be true about me,

Which absolutely are not.

So if that momentum exists and I'm actively in that,

I need to break that momentum before I do anything else.

So how do we break that momentum?

The way you break the momentum is with your conscious decision.

You make a decision to break it,

First of all.

And if it is really hard to stop thinking those thoughts,

Then you got to distract yourself.

I like watching romantic comedies or comedy specials on Netflix when I need to break the momentum of something negative or I take a nap for two hours and that takes care of it right away.

Other people like to go for a run.

They go dancing.

You know,

You can paint,

You can write poetry,

You can read,

You can do anything that brings you joy.

My ex-boyfriend had a train collection and he focused on working on his train collection.

So anything that brings you joy,

Literally anything,

It doesn't have to be anything in particular.

If it brings you joy,

Then it's the right thing to do.

So use that to break the momentum,

To distract yourself from the negativity that's going on.

Once that momentum is broken,

Once you reach a neutral place,

Then you want to ask yourself a very important question and that is,

What am I afraid of?

What is the worst thing that can happen?

Now when you ask yourself these questions,

The fear is going to come to the surface.

It's going to say,

Well,

You're going to look like a fool or nobody is going to care and you're not going to be able to raise the money that you need or you're going to go through all of this trouble and you're not going to lose the weight anyways.

So whatever the fear is,

It's going to come to the surface and you can write this down.

So write down that fear.

What are you afraid of?

Write it down.

And then here's the next step that is really,

Really important.

Now that it is written down,

Now that it's on the page,

Look at that fear and ask yourself this next question.

How does my inner being see this fear?

Does my inner being,

That infinite consciousness that resides within me,

That is pure positive love,

Does that consciousness agree with this prognosis,

With this outcome that I have drawn out for me?

Does my inner being think that I'm going to look like a fool if this thing doesn't work out?

What you'll find is that anything you look at through the lens of your inner being,

Anything you look at with the understanding that you are infinite love individualized,

That you are perfection individualized in this physical form,

When you look at any fear from that point of view,

That fear no longer exists because what is fear?

Fear is the absence of love,

The same way that darkness is the absence of light.

So if you're looking at a shadow and you shine a light onto that shadow,

That shadow is going to disappear.

That same way,

If you are looking at the fear,

You're actively looking at that fear,

You're looking at it in the eye and you shine the light of love that is within you onto it,

It is going to disappear because it does not exist unless there's an absence of love,

The same way that a shadow does not exist unless there's an absence of light.

So if you are struggling with something,

If you are feeling these symptoms of fear rising up within you and you are just sick and tired of it,

Do this exercise this weekend and really identify the fear,

Write it down and then look at it through the lens of your inner being,

Through the lens of love,

Shine some light onto those dark spots and see what happens,

Just see that fear dissolve and write to me about it.

And another way you can get in touch with me is also through Instagram.

Find peace unleashed on Instagram.

That is how I share love notes with you every single day.

So those love notes come directly from my heart.

Sometimes I write love poems for you,

So they're quirky,

They're fun.

I hope you enjoy them.

And next week we'll come back and we'll be here with an entirely new theme.

So I hope you enjoyed this week's theme of fear and that you got some value out of these episodes that we had this week.

And next week we'll come back and we'll dive into an entirely new topic.

And until then,

I wish you a peaceful weekend.
