My name is Evelyn.
Thank you for joining me.
Find a comfortable seated position or you may lie down.
If you're in a comfortable seated position,
Feel your feet press firmly down,
Feeling your spine grow tall,
Allowing the shoulders to drop away from the ears and relax,
Letting the lips part and the jaw relax,
Letting the corners of your mouth slowly lift up,
Placing a smile on your face.
Let the eyelids softly drape over your eyes,
Feeling all the muscles in your face relax,
Allowing the breath to slowly come in and gently release out,
Feeling the breath come in through the nose,
Nourishing the body,
Gently holding it at the top and slowly releasing out.
With each breath in,
Feel each of your cells become nourished and healthy.
And with each breath out,
Feeling any type of anxiety,
Tension,
Or release,
Slide off of the body and into the earth.
Let each breath slowly come in and gently release out.
Imagining yourself on a beach,
Floating in the water,
And with each breath in,
The body lifting,
And with each breath out,
The body sinking and surrendering to the water.
Let each breath come in,
Feel the body rise,
And slowly release out.
The sun softly coming down on the Gulf of Mexico.
Feel the water below you,
And feel the rhythm of the breath in sync with the water.
You hear the birds flying above.
You hear the water crashing along the shore,
Hearing laughter in the distance,
Allowing the body to gently relax and release,
Trusting.
And if any thoughts come in,
Recognizing them,
Giving yourself grace,
And slowly releasing them.
You can feel the sun gently begin to sink.
You can see a band of birds flying along the horizon.
Feeling each breath in lift you and slowly release.
The sound of laughter in the background draws a smile.
Taking a nice deep breath in through the nose,
Holding it at the top,
And an audible breath out through the mouth.
Repeating that once again,
Nice deep breath in,
Holding it at the top,
And audible exhale out.
We will repeat that one more time.
Deep breath in,
Feeling it enter and fill every cell of your body.
And as you exhale,
Releasing it all.
Slowly coming back into the room.
Slowly begin to wiggle your toes and your fingertips.
And when you're ready,
Open your eyes.
Namaste.
Thank you.
