On today's episode,

I'm going to talk about three upper chakras,

The third eye,

The soma and the crown.

And with this episode,

I hope that it helps you to understand in a practical but simple yet still accurate way what each of these chakras can do for your life,

Personal growth and of course intertwined with all of this is your own spiritual development.

Let's start off with the third eye chakra and first address its location.

It's not between the eyebrows nor a bit above the center of the eyebrows.

There is an energetic point between the eyebrows in this area and it is associated with the energies of the third eye chakra but it's not the third eye chakra.

The third eye chakra is located in the middle in the center of your forehead.

The function of the third eye chakra is about seeing,

About perception and processing of both internal and external energies or information.

So in practical terms,

The energies that you carry on the third eye chakra impact very very much how you process information and also what type of energies you naturally tune into.

And as a consequence then,

Internet also determines what type of information you are able to receive or not,

Whether it's light,

Dark,

Distorted or a truth.

This chakra helps you to perceive and gain insights about your physical 3D life,

Your family,

Your friends,

What happened three years ago with person X.

So it helps you to have inner insights and knowing about what is happening within you.

It helps you to see and perceive beyond the visible light spectrum and beyond the earthly realms into other realms.

So what is commonly called the clear senses.

And in a nutshell,

The third eye is exactly about what the name says,

It is your eye for non-visible energies,

Whatever these non-visible energies are,

It's a receptor of information of these invisible energies,

It processes,

It's part in a way of the processing of these energies.

So it contributes to your perception about what your physical eyes and ears can see and hear as much as your perception and vision beyond this earthly realm,

As much as about what is happening within yourself and in your inner world.

So in a way,

The better the third eye chakra is working,

The better you are at understanding yourself and at least getting an awareness of what's really happening within you.

Even if you are not sure what's happening within you,

Have the awareness that something is happening and that's kind of an important thing so that then you can go deeper and see what the issue is.

So the third eye really helps with this whole self-understanding and self-development as well.

And through this chakra,

When it's functioning right,

There's clarity,

There's good insight of what's happening in your inner world inside of you as much as about what is happening outside of you in your outer world.

It is a chakra to receive and process information that can tune into sources of energy.

Thus,

It allows us to connect with sources of light,

So it is possible to bring a lot of light through this chakra and of course then reach higher levels of understanding and forms of enlightenment.

And this is one of the reasons that if you see the drawings of people who can draw,

When they draw some ascended masters,

For example,

They sometimes draw with the light coming through their higher heart or their third eye area that it can even merge a bit with the soma chakra because these are chakras that can bring through a lot of light.

Speaking now of the soma then,

I chose to mention the soma chakra because it's getting more and more active in more people.

I find it really important both for spiritual growth as well as creation and co-creation here on earth as humans.

This chakra is called amriya chakra in Sanskrit.

I don't think this is how it is pronounced,

So I just call it soma.

The word soma is an approximate but reductive translation from the Sanskrit.

It's located between the third eye and the crown.

It sits at more or less at the center of the hairline,

So where your forehead ends and your head begins.

This chakra is a lot to do with our connection with the angelic realm and our attunement to angelic energies and when it's working well,

It has a very,

Very important role in terms of spiritual guidance.

Basically,

The best way I can explain this more or less,

It's like the third eye gets the energies and does the processing and can receive light information by tuning into light sources,

Even external light sources.

Then the soma chakra can help to gain very high and deep spiritual insights.

This can be about situations and the situations can range from whether you're trying to figure out which car to buy or whether you are trying to understand something that is more abstract,

Perhaps even spiritual.

For example,

If you are trying to truly understand what the yin and yang energies really encompass and are about,

This chakra has a role in all of that form of guidance and bringing a higher level of knowledge and insights.

Everything gets heightened and stronger in a very good,

Very positive way when the soma chakra is functioning right.

The energy from this chakra gives us sense and a feeling of fulfillment,

Of bliss,

Because this chakra is part of the production of substances in an etheric way and in a physical way.

It is a chakra that has a very systemic role in the whole system and in the whole body.

So one of the things that it is also about is that it helps to balance the energies in the whole chakra system,

In a whole body,

The yin and yang,

Divine feminine or masculine or whatever type of polarities that there may be to balance,

And that's one of the reasons that it has a huge impact on our creation as humans in life.

The other important role of this chakra in our lives and creation is that it's associated with the sense of time,

And in a practical way,

It's a chakra that helps us to live,

Create,

Execute,

Implement things in life within a time frame.

For example,

If you feel scattered,

Lost in space and time,

Difficulty to make ends meet in terms of deadlines,

And have a good notion of timeline about something,

How long something takes,

Then this chakra is probably not working very well.

And when it's not working very well because of its very important role on a systemic level,

It affects all other chakras.

I find that it especially starts giving some symptoms on the chakras of the throat and those on the lower gut area,

So the root and sacral chakra systems over there.

I think it's worth to take some time just to talk about the anatomical location of the chakra.

Internally,

The chakra is on two areas of the brain where they are responsible for very important things that shape our expression and our ability to create.

For example,

It's in the area of the brain that is responsible for decision-making and how we can also process certain types of information.

And the other chakras also are more or less in this area,

The upper chakras,

But the soma really goes into the frontal and parietal lobe.

And the frontal lobe is the last one to achieve maturity,

Especially an area that it's called the prefrontal cortex.

And scientifically,

This determines whether someone is an adult or not.

It's when they reached the full maturation of this part of the brain.

Even if you find that the maturation wasn't very successful and someone still behaves like a child,

There is full maturation of the brain by 25.

It happens between 24-26 years old.

And I hope that by me telling you this,

You can understand why spiritual growth and development tends to come with age and maturity.

Because once these parts of the brain are fully developed,

It's also when the chakra is fully developed.

And once the chakra is fully developed on this system,

That's when it can also start taking in other roles and more and more roles and more layers within the same role,

Even if it was already active.

So let's talk now about the crown chakra.

Whilst the third eye is about receiving from all sources,

So the inner sources and the outside sources,

The crown is always about receiving energies from outside sources.

What the role of this chakra truly is about is to help you to be more grounded in higher energies.

So it actually connects with the root chakra.

It helps you to bring heaven to earth and ground it all in your body and within you.

It keeps all parts of you together and in harmony.

So of course,

This is a very important chakra when it comes to spiritual development and through the different stages of enlightenment.

Also,

Much like the third eye in terms of receiving energies,

Because the crown chakra is always receiving energies from the outside,

It can also be affected by a multitude of energies as well.

And one of the main questions about the crown chakra,

Which is i think kind of the right question,

Is how can i know if my crown chakra is open or not?

Have you tried to even just talk something that is simple,

As simple can be,

With someone who is not open-minded,

Who is not open to receive suggestions at all about whatever is that they're just not interested in listening to,

Even if what you have to say is important?

That is someone with a non-well-functioning crown chakra and with blockages and densities in that chakra.

So examples,

Very dogmatic people.

You can find them everywhere and in any matter,

Of course,

But generally speaking you can find the archetypes of the dogmatic people in politics,

In religions and in certain academic settings.

These people are not in connection with universal source of knowledge which is via the crown chakra.

It's that kind of people that just sees one side,

Their side.

So that's how you can in essence have an idea of how much the crown chakra of someone is working well,

Is by how open is someone to being open-minded in essence.

In my experience,

I find that the less open the crown chakra is,

The less flexible is the personality style.

With flexibility I mean people who have difficulty in accepting that things don't always go how they planned or how they wanted and it could be from a small thing like the restaurant they wanted for that night that is closed to something bigger.

So they have a lot of difficulty to accept life and the flow of life.

I know that there are things that happen in life that it is difficult to accept and I know that there are things that disappoint us.

So I'm not talking about normal reactions to something that has just happened or to something that happened.

I'm really talking about lack of flexibility in their personality as an actual trait,

As a pattern of behavior and not as something that happens in a very specific context.

In summary,

The crown chakra is that chakra that we indirectly and many times unknowingly refer to when we say if someone is open-minded or not.

The more truly open-minded you are to whatever is,

The more insights and information you are able to receive.

And this receptiveness to the truth,

To new knowledge,

To being open to learn more,

To be challenged by new information,

To go deeper on insights is what this chakra is about and is how this chakra is helping you to grow on all aspects of yourself.

This is the chakra that reminds you in a way that you are an individualization of creation but you're not separate nor isolated from creation.

The trick here is when people confuse being open-minded with not being discriminating and this is a whole topic in itself.

Okay,

I think I will stop here because I don't want to make this too long.

Thank you so much for listening.

Take care and I'll catch you on the next episode.
