Close your eyes and deepen your breath,
Allowing the body to start to relax.
Let the shoulders roll out,
Up,
Back,
And down a few times,
Connecting your breath to the movement.
Feel your attention turning inward as you start to relax the body parts.
Start with your shoulders,
Relaxing every muscle,
Allowing any free movement.
This is the time to bring the body back to naturalness.
Relax all the way down your arms,
Every inch of skin softens.
Soften your wrists and all the joints of your hand.
Relax your chest,
Throat,
And face,
Especially the jaw,
Eyeballs,
And forehead.
Become aware of your entire scalp.
Relax your temples and try to melt everything that's above your shoulders,
Letting it sink down into the body,
Grounding yourself.
An attitude of sinking downward,
Grounding down,
And inward,
Connecting to your middle.
Give yourself time to use the breath.
The fuller breaths expand your inner space,
Connecting you to the present moment through your body.
You can start to bring attention to the heart space.
Notice it's like a warmth,
Sending inhale and exhale through the chest area,
Giving yourself a break from the forehead for just a few minutes,
Creating a different space,
A more loving space inside your body,
Letting the breath melt you from the inside while the heart opens.
Start to cultivate the smile through your cheeks and face,
And also through the heart and the chest,
The inner smile,
So a sense of smiling energy spreading through the cheeks of your chest,
Breathing in through your smiling face,
A sweetness like a light radiating through your body.
Stay connected to all the muscles,
Your spine is long and straight,
Replacing unnecessary thoughts with your breath as you expand the smiling energy from your face and from your chest into the body.
Notice if you're holding tension through your neck,
Face,
Chest,
Legs,
And see if it can soften.
And although thoughts from the day will start to move through,
Do not resist your thoughts.
Keep your forehead soft,
The back of the neck long and soft,
The warmth of the shining smiling sun radiating in your chest,
Sending warm,
Relaxing rays down your arms and legs.
Let the warm,
Smiling rays spread into your belly,
Into the spaces between your organs.
And finally,
Notice the part inside of you that is enjoying the smile,
The part of you that feels joy,
What we call our being,
The most intimate experience of yourself,
Being.
As you breathe through your heart space,
Connect to your essential being.
Notice the background of your being,
The space behind thoughts,
Body sounds,
Your being.
Letting there be a softness and a smile,
Allowing the thoughts to just flow through this smiling inner space.
Notice they're appearing inside a field of your own awareness and being.
Make sure you take some time just to feel the effects of your meditation.
Listen to any inner messages and then slowly integrate into the day ahead.
