Welcome to 5 Minutes of Gratitude,

Building a daily practice of appreciation,

Grounding,

And inner peace.

Let's begin.

Sit comfortably with your spine straight and gently close your eyes,

Bringing your attention to your breath.

Take a full,

Deep breath,

Expanding your chest,

Filling your lungs,

Creating air in your belly,

And then gently let it go.

Now bring your attention to your body.

Notice how you feel in this moment.

Are there areas of tension?

Are there areas of ease?

With another breath,

Send oxygen to the places you're holding tension,

Allowing your body to relax just a bit deeper now.

Your focus is on your body and the ability to carry you through your life.

As you take a moment to appreciate your body's strength and resiliency,

Remember that it is the vehicle to everything that you do,

Experience,

And are working to become.

With another full,

Deep breath,

Fully relax into this moment,

Grounding yourself into the ground below you.

And gently place your hand over your heart,

Sending love to your body.

And with a deep breath,

Bring your attention to your feet,

Sending love and gratitude for the places it has carried you.

Working your way up,

Acknowledge the strength of your legs and all the places that it has moved you through.

And all the places it has carried you and rooted you in.

Move to your hips,

Allowing you to be flexible and pivot through the world.

Moving to your stomach,

Allowing it to be filled and whole.

All the way to your chest now,

To the power of your heart,

Filling you with beautiful experiences and peace and hope in everything that you do.

Move now to the flexibility of your arms,

Finding gratitude for all the strength it has provided you.

Moving to your neck,

Giving gratitude for all the muscles,

Tissue,

And nerves that support you.

To your eyes,

Your nose,

And your mouth,

Being the channel for the world in all that you experience,

Smell,

See,

And taste.

Then moving to the clarity of your mind,

Allowing your mind,

Heart,

And soul to feel the gratitude for each part of you.

And as you take another full,

Deep breath,

Affirming with me,

I am thankful for the strength and vitality of my body.

I honor and appreciate myself with grounded love and respect.

I am grateful that I am carried in this beautiful vehicle throughout my life.

With another full,

Deep breath,

Allow the gratitude to settle in your being.

And when you're ready,

Exhale and open your eyes.

Allow this deep sense of gratitude to carry you through the rest of your day.

Until we meet again,

My heart is grateful for you.
