Hi friends,

Today I want to talk about something that I'm finding a lot of people,

Clients,

Friends,

Family members working through and that is sensitivity.

My goodness,

I have to say as a triple cancer,

My sun,

My moon,

And my rising sign all falling under the sign of cancer.

I know sensitivity so well.

I remember growing up and so many people saying,

You're so sensitive,

You're so sensitive.

I used to just think it was such a bad thing.

And then what happened is it created this exterior hardness outside of me and it just created this barrier of not letting anybody in and that included love.

So I started to manifest and create so many experiences,

People,

Situations that were such an embodiment of lack of love.

And so now I see sensitivity as my superpower.

It's all connected to the work that I'm doing,

The way I relate to people,

The way I connect,

The way I take on experiences and projects or not.

And I have to say,

Typically the people who experience sensitivity is caregivers,

Healers,

Earth angels,

Light workers,

Even those that identify as empaths are all under this sensitive realm.

And I have to say there are way more people who struggle with sensitivity than we even know.

Food sensitivities,

Environmental sensitivities,

Work environment sensitivities,

Family sensitivities,

Even personal physical body sensitivities.

So I want to talk about today about how to navigate through that and being able to transform it into something positive.

So what I find with a lot of people is they want to tune out that sensitivity or they don't know how to navigate it and they become withdrawn or recluse because there's just too much energy going on.

Now I have to say,

I feel like sensitivity isn't something I can completely shut off,

But I can be mindful in the way I navigate through things and giving myself time for self care and then also the time for clients and experiences and being out just with the general public.

So what I find is that people like me and sensitive people,

We can appear to be extroverted people.

And because again,

For example,

I like people,

I work with people for a living and I like that type of environment,

But I have to say I so much love my downtime.

I have to say I personally would identify myself as an introvert.

Now people on the outside looking at me would say,

Oh,

She's extroverted.

She's so good around people.

And again,

Me,

I see myself as an introvert.

Like God,

I just want to go home.

I just want to be in my bed under my covers,

Reading a book or just relaxing.

So you know,

It's struggling with like,

What do I identify with?

And you know,

Like the labels and not fitting and I have to say a lot of sensitive people,

Intuitive people,

Caregivers,

Healers,

We all feel like we don't fit in.

So we try to fit ourselves into this,

These pockets that just don't really fully fit with us.

So this winter I was in Sedona,

Arizona and I always leave the universe open to show up for me when I'm out there and really in my life in general.

But when I'm out there,

You know,

The energy is just synchronistic.

There's aha moments,

The way you meet people.

And there was one specific day that I was supposed to go out with a group of,

Of the ladies from our,

From our group.

And I woke up that morning,

Not feeling well,

Tired.

It was a wine tour and I just couldn't see myself going out and drinking all afternoon and I,

You know,

At this point I was really kind of struggling with listening to what my body needs and then the tug of war of pleasing everybody and doing what people wanted me to do to make them happy.

So I made the executive decision not to go on that trip and I have to say they totally respected my boundaries.

They were fine with the fact that I didn't go and I guess I was afraid of like,

Are they not going to like me?

Are they going to be mad at me?

I made this commitment and now I don't want to go.

And so I really had to listen to my body and my energy.

So I had committed to self care and self love to be on my own.

So we were in a group of 45 women.

So that's a lot of energy.

And so this was towards the end of the trip and I just needed some downtime.

I needed some alone time.

And so this particular resort that we're at is a spa resort.

And so I committed to spending the day with myself in relaxation respite mode.

So I found my way down to the spa that early afternoon and I just found little nook that I read a book and relaxed and then it started to snow,

Which is very rare for Sedona.

And so I went to go sit in the hot tub.

They have a hot tub that's outdoors and it's open to anybody who's down there.

So I ended up spending some time there and just a few people had come into the hot tub that I didn't know.

And I started chatting with this girl and she was there on a yoga retreat and we just started talking about sensitivity and the synchronicities of Sedona.

And she was like brand new to all of this.

So she was in like,

This is so amazing and wonderful.

And she really felt like she belonged,

That she had found her people,

Like people like me and other people that she was meeting where she could say,

God,

I'm having these experiences and I'm having this aha moments and these ideas.

And of course we're there to support and say,

Yeah,

That makes so much sense and validate.

And it's just the powerful energy that Sedona Arizona embodies.

So then she started telling me about this concept.

Now I have to say,

I'm going to go more into this concept,

But this is not my idea.

So I need to say that I need to give her credit,

But I have to say it's genius and so profound and it struck me so clearly as giving it a name that just I could connect with.

So she lives in a place where spirituality and spiritual community is really non-existent.

So she's having all these experiences,

But doesn't know what to do with it.

But anybody she talks about thinks she's weird,

Thinks she's crazy,

Thinks she doesn't know what she's talking about.

So we were talking about the sensitivity of caregivers,

Healers,

Earth angels,

Light workers,

Empaths.

And we were talking about the whole introverted extroverted thing.

And so she came up with the idea of calling us heart-traverts.

We're heart-based people that are in between introverts and extroverts.

And God,

That totally blew my mind.

I think it's a genius idea.

I have her email.

I keep meaning to check in with her to see if she's done anything with it,

But I feel like it's an idea that I can so resonate with.

So heart-traverts,

A lot of the work that we do is because of the love and the support and the compassion and the kindness we have for other people.

What happens is if we're not careful,

We can be,

What's the word,

Tricked by the veil.

We have the ability to see the soul parts of people.

We can see the really great parts of them.

We can see people's potential.

Really we're tapping into the energy of their souls.

But what happens is we're not always completely aware of the ulterior motives of some people.

So what happens is they take advantage of us.

They abuse their power.

They take advantage of our time,

Our energy,

Our money,

Like take,

Take,

Take,

Take.

And so these are one of the things that I started to realize within the last year or so that I really had to shift my vibration to the energy that I was attracting because I was really attracting harsh,

Disruptive,

Verbally,

Emotionally abusive energy,

I guess.

And it was so hidden that when it came up,

It was so frustrating.

And then I would internalize that on my own.

It's more than I'm not doing and why didn't I see this and the regrets.

And so I've been able lately to use that to transform it into something powerful and really use that sensitivity as a superpower and being able to connect with myself and the energy around me on a whole different level.

And so instead of hiding and pretending that I don't have this power,

I don't have this energy or this sensitivity,

I've just completely embraced it and what happens with empaths and caregivers,

Healers,

Earth angels,

Light workers,

I got to come up with a short word for that.

But what I found that with that energy,

We can totally become chameleon like meaning we can absorb into other people's problems and traumas and just stuff if we're not careful.

So I always say like,

If you're a sensitive person,

Be mindful of how you can become chameleon like and other people's stuff can become your stuff.

So at night before I go to bed,

You know,

Let's say if it's something that I'm worried about or something that I'm stewing about a fear that's coming up or feeling powerless over something or stress,

I kind of give myself permission to sit with it and feel it in my body.

And then what I do is I ask myself,

I go a little further,

Who around me,

For example,

Let's say it's money,

And I'm feeling lack,

I'm feeling like money,

I'm below it,

And I can't get ahead,

I'm feeling I'm drowning and like maybe say like debt and stuff,

Which is something that I have struggled with for was had struggled with for a while.

And so what I would do at this point is I take a step back and I sit with it and saying,

Where's this money stuff coming from?

And then I take it a step further and saying,

Who,

And is there anyone around me that's struggling with money?

And then when I look at him like,

Gosh,

This person and this person and these clients and this is happening.

I'm like,

No wonder I'm not even aware that I'm absorbing their energy and internalizing it as my own.

So once I can make that connection,

I'm able to release it,

Accept that this is the space where I'm in.

And from there,

I can move forward.

So we have to be aware that other people stuff if we're not mindful,

We can end up creating it in our own lives if we keep hearing it over and over again.

So I have to say,

If you're a sensitive person,

Shut off the news,

The negative social media shut off the crass and crude songs,

Because what happens is where our energy fields are so sensitive that we're absorbing that vibration.

And without even knowing it,

We end up attracting that.

So I have to say I have balance.

So there are some things like I can listen to and watch and there are other things I can't.

So I'm very mindful in the moment.

Like when and if I can watch something.

So for example,

I love the TV show Blind Spot.

It's such a great show.

I'm all about puzzles and figuring things out.

But it can be somewhat violent.

And if I'm not in the right space,

I can get consumed by it and brings up worries and fears and and things like that.

But I have to say,

I love the show,

But I'm very aware of when I watch things like that and how I'm feeling.

If not,

I'll fill myself up in other ways.

So another example was I I'm obsessed with or love HGTV.

I love the homes.

I love the redecorating.

I love the interior design.

Now me being a triple cancer and all about home,

Of course,

I would be attracted to something like that.

But last year I realized I had been watching it so much that I started to feel like there was something wrong with me because I didn't have a home like that or have a space like that for my own.

So I started to feel the lack and feel bad about myself and frustrated.

And I had to take a step back from it and saying,

Gosh,

All right,

So I love watching these shows,

But now I'm internalizing it as there's something wrong with me because I don't have that.

And my house doesn't look like that.

And I don't have the granite top countertops and the open concept,

Which is all lovely.

And at some point I was watching it because I'm planting seeds,

Learning about what it is that I do want,

But because it hadn't shown been showing up in my life fast enough,

I was internalizing it as I was doing something wrong.

So again,

It brings you back to mindfulness when these things are coming up in my life and you can say,

Okay,

Why do I feel the lack?

Why do I feel like I'm missing something?

Why do I feel like,

Wow,

Maybe I've been having clients that are having these experiences or maybe I'm having watching things on TV that are,

That are,

That are bringing up these worries and fear.

So instead of projecting it out,

I sit with it with myself and I'm able to like pull out 75% of maybe what we struggle with is other people's stuff.

And 25% is maybe ours.

Now I have to say those people are teaching us about something that's within us.

And so instead of me getting frustrated with the disruptive people,

With the experiences that I was having,

Feeling powerless over the,

Over these situations,

I took it back on myself and saying,

Okay,

Thank you experience or person for teaching me about my power,

Teaching me about this is something that I want.

And then I was able to transform it.

And then also too with sensitivity,

Once you're aware of that,

Once you're in alignment with your body,

This is why meditation on a regular basis of just practicing mindfulness and being present on how your body's feeling and what's going on with your mind helps you when you're moving and navigating in the human world.

Because you become aware of people,

Places,

Things and ideas don't,

That don't resonate or match with your vibration.

So for example,

Now that I have the sensitivity,

What happened,

I've always had it,

But now that I'm aware of how to navigate through it,

What happens is when I meet somebody or I'm presented with an opportunity or an experience or somebody wants me to do something,

I can see or feel it before they even say it.

So for example,

If somebody is coming to me or I'm in a store or driving on the road,

I can feel the negativity,

I can feel the toxic energy,

I can feel the,

The just the yucky energy before they even open their mouth,

Before they're even upon me.

And what happens is the freedom is knowing that I can choose to accept this or not.

I can choose to work with this or not.

And for me,

These last few months,

It's been incredibly liberating.

And basically I've decided if it doesn't bring me adventure,

Play,

Laughter,

Fun and freedom,

I'm not doing it.

Now I have to say laundry and paying bills are obviously something that I need to do for myself,

But I've also found fun ways to do it.

So when I go into laundry and I'm folding,

I listen to country music and I sing along with it.

When I'm paying bills,

I'm in a really great state of gratitude,

Thanking God for the opportunity that's in my life and the experience.

I was just talking to a friend about how grateful I was that I live in a country that I as a female can go anywhere that I choose,

Can travel anywhere that I want.

I can,

I can open a business,

I can move to another state,

I can open a business there.

I can decide if I want to go to this restaurant,

Want to go to that restaurant.

I can decide if I want to work here or want to work there and I have to say there is such a true power and freedom and being able to do that.

And I have to say I attribute those experiences to my sensitivity.

So when I'm in that place of joy,

Happiness,

Adventure,

Fun,

Laughter,

Play,

I pause in being mindful of feeling that way.

Bring that out to the universe and saying,

God,

Bring me more of this in my life or something even better.

Bring me more of these people in my life or something even better.

So me being sensitive and dialed into this energy,

I can use those emotions to radiate out and it can't not,

But boomerang back to me.

So there's this power in being able to use your sensitivity and being able to feel if something's good for you or not.

Or a person,

If they're a vibrational match or not.

And then what you do is basically you're not calling everybody and saying,

Hey,

Your energy no longer serves me anymore.

What you are doing is you're redirecting your energy towards the things that you want to be doing.

So when I have clients leave my office or I get off the Skype or the phone with a client and it was really impactful and powerful and I'm learning and they're learning,

I'll just say,

God,

Bring me more of those people in my life or something even better.

And now I'm co-creating with the universe using this beautiful energy,

Being mindful and open to it instead of being tired,

Depleted and drained by it.

And I can't tell you for how many years I've felt tired and depleted and drained by people.

Right?

And so for me,

My power and my passion and my joy is being able to work with people and help them break through these barriers and shift and change and grow by comforting,

Supporting,

Teaching and inspiring.

Right?

But I also have to be mindful of how I'm feeling.

So if I have an event and I'm doing a group reading and there's 20 people there,

I know that I'm not going to schedule anything that day.

I'm probably not going to schedule something the next morning either.

And so now I have to plan ahead and be protective and mindful of my energy.

So you can call on the Archangel Haniel who is the angel of sensitivity and passion.

And you can also call on the angel of Jophiel who works with the negativity to help to beautify your thoughts.

And you can ask her to surround you and protect you by beautiful things,

Beautiful people,

Places,

Things and ideas.

So you're in that vibration.

Remember God is working through us to show people his power,

His glory and his ability to make us shine in abundance.

Right?

So we've got to keep that vehicle clean and open.

So self care and self love and treating yourself kind is,

Is,

Is really part of the sensitivity.

And a lot of us are here to learn how to navigate through that.

Because again,

We can see on so much more of a deeper level when we're in that space and really dialed into how we're feeling and what we know to be true.

Right?

So of course sometimes judgments come up and we're like,

Oh,

Why am I judging this person?

I don't even know them and blah,

Blah,

Blah.

But your body is screaming,

Stay away.

Bad idea.

Listen to your body.

It doesn't mean no forever.

I say pause and it's a no,

Not for right now.

And then call on angel honey,

Al angel,

Angel,

Jofi,

All and of course God and ask him to send his armies of angels out to surround and protect you so that you can make a clear decision and I'll have to say that is the true empowerment.

That is the true freedom.

Knowing that you can choose the people,

Places,

Things and ideas that you want in your life and you can use your sensitivity as a power instead of feeling consumed and that it's a bad thing that so many of you have probably been told growing up.

So as you are navigating through the sensitivity and you're growing in that space,

We've got Pluto retrograde right now and Pluto is bringing up like control stuff.

But it's also countering our warrior like spirit.

So again,

This is why I say sensitivity is a superpower because it really brings up this warrior spirit in you and really you,

You know,

You're really growing into being guarded and protected by this powerful force.

God source creator universe that's flowing with you.

So is so many men and women,

Um,

We're being asked now to kind of stand in our power,

Lean on our faith and trust in the spirit and the divine that flows through us and really harness those qualities that so many people have said they're,

They're bad for so long.

Like for example,

Sensitivity,

Um,

And really taking that in as something wonderful and fantastic.

So sensitive people,

Again,

Caregivers,

Healers,

Earth angels,

Lightworkers,

Empaths,

Um,

Really be mindful of what you're surrounding your energy with.

You know,

I have to say I find myself changing the channel on the radio a lot more.

And again,

If it's going to go through something sad or it's going to trigger something in an emotion from the past,

You know,

I just changed the channel and how powerful that I can choose to listen to this or not.

And again,

I'm grateful for my sensitivity now because it's brought me to so many experiences that I probably wouldn't have experienced because of the worry and fear,

Um,

That I had been holding before.

So again,

Um,

Change your music,

Make sure you're listening to things that are good and positive uplifting for me right now.

I can't get enough of country music.

They either love their wives,

The men love their wives,

The women love their husbands,

Their relationships shine,

They all love their children and they're happy with life and it's just really great.

Um,

A really great message that I like to carry right now.

And then like I said,

Stay away from toxic TV,

Toxic news.

You don't realize how much it's affecting you until it's really affecting you.

And so things like gratitude and acceptance and filling yourself up with loving gentle people and delicious food that's going to fuel your body.

You don't realize how powerful these things are until you're actually in it,

Utilizing it and growing with it.

So that's what I want to share today about sensitivity with this Pluto retrograde.

There's a lot of stuff coming up for people.

So on your sensitivities,

If you need to stay,

Um,

You know,

In seclusion for a little while to cleanse your energy,

Do that.

If you want to go out there and be with people and shine your light,

Do that.

Um,

But remember your heart,

Your little of both and you're all guided by your heart.

So harness it,

Protect it,

Call on God and honey L and Jofi L and ask them to assist you to help you really shine your,

Your power and your light,

Um,

And navigate through that and be the teachers of the planet.

Be the ones that are the example of leading people into the promised land of literally that ultimate freedom of those ties and binds of old beliefs,

Old ways of doing things and just old energy in general.

So I encourage you to shine your light.

I encourage you to teach and empower and comfort and support people by everything you're learning.

Um,
