We'll work on identifying the roots of self-doubt and transforming them into stepping stones for confidence and personal empowerment.
Find a comfortable position.
Make sure your spine is straight yet not rigid,
Allowing for a flow of breath without strain.
Gently rest your hands in your lap or on your knees,
And allow your shoulders drop away from your ears.
Once you're settled,
Gently close your eyes.
Begin to notice your breath.
Feel the air entering through your nose,
The rise and fall of your chest and belly with each inhale and exhale,
Dropping your attention inward.
Now,
Take a deep breath in,
Slowly filling your lungs.
Feel the air as it enters your nostrils,
Cool and refreshing,
Flowing down into your chest and belly.
Notice how your body expands with each inhale.
Hold this breath for a moment at its peak,
Appreciating the fullness and life within you.
Then,
Gently exhale,
Releasing the air and any tension you may be holding.
Feel your chest and belly fall,
A wave of relaxation spreading through your body.
A couple more times,
Breathing in deeply and breathing out slowly and gently.
Now,
Allow your breath to return to its natural rhythm,
Unforced and easy.
We will now do a gentle body scan.
Start at the top of your head,
Noticing any sensations,
Tension or ease.
Imagine your breath reaching these areas,
Your exhales helping to dissolve tension,
Leaving behind a sense of spaciousness and comfort.
Slowly move your awareness down to your forehead,
Eyes,
And jaw,
Areas where we often hold stress without realizing.
With each breath,
Invite these muscles to soften and relax.
Continue down your neck and shoulders,
An area that bears the weight of our burdens.
Allow your breaths to encourage these muscles to release their hold,
Feeling lighter with every exhale.
Continue down through your arms and hands,
Your chest and belly,
And into your hips and legs.
Give each area your attention,
Breathing into tightness and exhaling any discomfort.
When you reach your feet,
Take a moment to appreciate the support they provide you every day.
Stay here for a few moments,
Enjoying the stillness you have cultivated around.
Within you,
I invite you to bring your focus to the space in front of you.
Imagine there stands a mirror,
Not an ordinary one,
But a mirror capable of reflecting not just your physical appearance but the essence of your inner being.
Gently,
In your mind's eye,
Stand before this mirror.
Look directly into your reflection.
Allow your gaze to soften as you look deeper into your eyes.
What you are about to see is the truest version of yourself,
Unburdened by self-doubt,
Radiating confidence and strength.
Now,
Visualize a radiant,
Confident energy emanating from within the reflection.
This energy shimmers with potential,
Illuminating your true self,
A self that is free from the shadows of doubt.
Notice how this energy makes you feel.
Does it bring a sense of peace?
A feeling of readiness?
Embrace this energy,
Letting it fill every part of your being.
As you stand in front of this mirror,
Reflect on your journey to this moment.
What aspects of self-doubt have you carried with you?
Have these doubts whispered questions about your abilities,
Your decisions,
Or your worth?
Acknowledge these feelings.
They have been a part of your journey,
But they do not define you.
With a clear understanding of what you wish to overcome,
Formulate your intention into a simple,
Positive statement.
Perhaps,
I intend to embrace my abilities and trust in myself more deeply.
Allow this intention to resonate with the image in the mirror,
Reinforcing your commitment to move beyond self-doubt.
Spend a few moments imagining the outcome of your intention.
Visualize the positive impacts on your personal and professional relationships,
The decisions you make with confidence,
And the inner peace that comes from trusting yourself.
Now,
Let's repeat some positive affirmations together.
You can say them out loud or simply listen.
I trust my abilities and intuition.
