I want to share with you a dream I had.

We all have many dreams and they're very impactful how they change our lives.

And maybe that's the thing about dreams.

Maybe they're meant to help change our lives in certain ways.

But this dream was kind of a little bit different.

Now a forewarning,

I have sleep apnea,

Or I had it back then,

And I wasn't sure if this dream was really a dream.

Or maybe I stopped breathing and for maybe a few moments died and then came back.

I don't know.

So let me share the dream to you.

So I was put into this mystical land with flowing green grass hills and beautiful scenery everywhere.

And there was a building,

It was like a four or five story building with a parking garage connected to it.

And I was in the parking garage and there were these beautiful girls standing around in beautiful dresses.

And there was a voice came over,

Like a loudspeaker to me.

And the voice said to me,

This land is yours.

You can stay here as long as you need to stay.

Anything you desire will be given to you.

All you have to do is ask for it and it is yours.

And I'm like,

Wow,

Okay.

Well,

If that's true,

How about a Ferrari?

And presto,

Magical,

Wham,

I was given a Ferrari.

It was right in front of me,

Just like that.

Right at my asking.

So then I said,

Well,

I'm going to take a drive out into the countryside.

It's such a beautiful countryside and such a beautiful day.

I'm going to take a drive out into the countryside.

So I'm rolling through the green grass hills with the wind in my hair and everything just feeling beautiful in this mystical,

Magical land.

It really didn't feel like a dream.

It felt more like this is like a new reality,

An alternate reality.

Anyway,

I drove my little Ferrari up into this little town and I saw a surf shop.

Of course,

Me being a surfer,

I'm going to stop at the surf shop and check out what kind of boards they got.

That's something a surfer can't resist is to see,

You know,

What kind of boards they have.

So I went to the surf shop and I'm looking at all these weird shaped boards.

They're not like normal shaped boards.

These boards are all asymmetrical and wide and just crazy looking things.

You know,

Something that I think will either be a shaper's nightmare or shaper's dream.

I don't know.

But anyway,

I'm looking at all the boards and the young man that was attending the shop came over to me and I'm holding the board in my arms and I'm like,

Yeah,

All right.

You know,

Do they have waves here?

What are the waves like here?

And the young man looked at me and within an instant I was put back into the parking garage and four men with clouds around their feet,

Dressed up,

You know,

Like Jesus's garb,

Come floating in from wherever they came floating in from heaven or whatever.

And they came to get me and they basically said,

You don't belong here.

This land is not for you.

And as soon as they did that,

Then,

I woke up,

I gasped for air in my bed and I just sat there a little bit of this wonderment.

I was like,

Did I,

Was that a dream?

You know,

There's many different types of dreams.

Most of the dreams,

90% of the dreams we have is just basically rubbish.

And they don't mean anything.

They don't,

They may not change your life.

It's just desires,

You know,

And I think 10% of your dreams are desires of things that you want in your conscious mind.

Your unconscious mind doesn't have any desires,

But the conscious mind has many desires.

And a desire is wanting something more than you've got.

A desire is wanting,

Like,

To be the president of a country or to be,

You know,

Famous or,

Like I said,

Maybe you have Ferrari as it was in my dream.

So what this dream did to me was it kind of gave me a perspective of maybe,

Maybe I actually did die.

Maybe for a few moments I was taken out of my body and put into another dimension.

And that makes me think about,

You know,

Is that what happens to a lot of people when they die?

That we're just,

We don't even know it.

We're just shifted into another dimension.

And in that dimension all your desires are met until basically you realize that,

You know,

That you have no desires.

Maybe your desires are so earthly or,

You know,

Or maybe you've obtained Buddhahood and really have no,

You know,

Crazy desires to be president or to be,

You know,

Wanted by everybody or desired by everybody.

You know,

So is that it?

I mean,

Is that what happens when we die?

And then they hold you in this land,

You know,

Until another body is ready for you.

I mean,

It just makes you think.

I mean,

It's possible that it could be that way.

We think of heaven and hell and things like that,

But those are just conditioned things that came out of the fears of men in the past.

I suppose,

You know,

In this podcast here is that,

You know,

It could be,

You know,

Just heaven or hell,

If you're a bad person,

Maybe surrounded by bad things,

Bad things happening to you will keep you in that reality as long as you need it to.

And every time you start to catch up to that reality,

They could change the reality and turn it into a whole different scene.

So this is just my understanding and just something I want to share with my listeners that,

You know,

I think God is so compassionate if you believe in God.

If you don't believe in God,

There's still compassion and there's still consciousness that can't be explained.

As a meditator and someone who practices awareness,

I can attest to you that there's consciousness,

There's unconsciousness,

There's subconsciousness,

But there's also above consciousness level,

Something that psychiatrists don't ever get into,

Is what they call super consciousness.

And super consciousness is your very first feeling and where God reaches into you and you reach into God and you kind of mix together and you get this feeling that there's more than just consciousness.

It's above the normal level that any psychiatrist could ever get you to.

And then above the super consciousness level,

If you keep meditating and you keep growing spiritually and emotionally and physically and mentally,

You have to grow in all these four different aspects in order for you to get into the collective consciousness,

Which is the above super consciousness.

And in the collective consciousness,

You basically grow so much that you connect and you feel this like Taoist connect with all living beings.

You'll feel it.

And it's like being an empath where empaths can feel the emotions of other people.

It's a dangerous thing too,

Because every time I watch somebody eat it on a skateboard or something and get hurt really bad on TV,

I feel their pain.

It's become a part of me.

But anyway,

I think that God is so compassionate that He creates a place for us to survive in after death until the time comes for us to maybe be born again.

Or maybe if you're done being born again,

As they say,

Buddha attained his final enlightenment and he will not be born again.

He's just dissolved into existence.

He's all of existence.

He's all around us.

He's everywhere.

He's basically everything in every plant and every tree.

There's the essence of Buddha existing.

And we can say the same about Jesus too.

He could be sitting in heaven,

Because believe it or not,

Heaven's right here.

Heaven's all around you.

You just don't have the eyes to see it.

You don't have the heart to comprehend it.

But if you want that to happen,

If you want to experience heaven right here,

Then basically all you have to do is grow,

Give your space,

Keep practicing awareness,

Like I said,

And be more compassionate and allow and be receptive to let these things happen.

And that's the key thing,

Is you have to be in a feminine state of mind to allow the whole to come in and take over.

But above the collective consciousness is the highest consciousness,

And that's cosmic consciousness.

And in cosmic consciousness,

That's when basically you and God have the same,

I won't say mind,

But your consciousness is shared.

So the highest point of consciousness that can be experienced is this cosmic consciousness.

But the cosmic consciousness isn't like the normal consciousness where you perceive things and you understand through your mind.

To experience the cosmic,

You have to basically dive so deep into meditation that you dissolve into the cosmic.

The cosmic is way too big for your little mind or your little consciousness to absorb.

So you have to create a space and a place for it to happen,

And then you've got to forget about it happening,

Because if you think about it happening,

It doesn't happen.

It's this catch-22.

So as a meditator,

We learn these tricks.

We learn how to meditate and not expect anything to happen.

It's like doing a trick on a skateboard or a surfboard or something.

Once you learn it,

You don't have to think about it.

You just allow it to happen.

So you get lost in your consciousness.

You don't become unconscious,

But you just get lost in your consciousness,

And you allow this beautiful cosmic consciousness in.

And that's also the level of samadhi,

Too.

They call that seedless samadhi,

Nirvanic samadhi,

And it's the highest level of samadhi.

And I could get into how that relates with all the dimensions in life,

But maybe we'll make that for another talk.

Anyway,

Thank you guys for joining me on this one,

And I hope you enjoyed talking a little bit about dreams.

Maybe if you're a little depressed or a little sad today,

Maybe this will help you to expand your consciousness and make you want a desire to go meditate and get lost in meditation.

But I also want you to feel that and realize that heaven's right here.

And you can experience this heaven right here.

It can happen to you if you pay your dues and you meditate and you fall in love with meditation and grow spiritually and allow this happening.

You know,

Basically,

You know how the Bible says,

God's will be done.

That's the state of mind.

You have to be in a feminine state of mind.

And I know I've said that before.

I just have to drill it in there just a little bit more.

But if you believe in heaven,

And I guess my feeling of heaven is that,

And my experience of heaven on earth is that it's a peak experience.

And at the top of the peak,

There's not a lot of room.

And there's not a lot of people.

There's only room for a few people.

And basically,

You can stay there and you can stay in that blissful state,

Full of love and bliss and happiness.

But there's really nothing to do up there.

And there's no one else to share it with.

So there's this desire to go back to the valley,

To fall back into the valley and make the trip again up the mountain.

And that's what I've been doing for 23 something years now is basically,

I've been to the mountaintop so many times,

I've shared the bliss and experienced the bliss.

But you know,

Being a snowboarder,

Here I go,

Strap on that board and get back down to the valley,

Because that's where all the people are.

That's where you guys are.

That's where everyone exists.

But the man that goes to the mountain many times,

He carries a piece of that mountain back to you,

Back to the valley and shares these stories of the mountaintop and the glorious adventures you experience climbing to the mountain.

I mean,

There are two basically,

Two mysterious things in this world.

There's mountains and there's oceans.

And sure,

The valleys are basically where you get your nourishment,

It's where you get to your education from.

Nobody gets their education at the top of the mountain.

Because first you have to learn a lot of things before you can make the trek on your own.

And if somebody else makes the trek to the top of the mountain for you,

Then it robs you of your experience,

Your richness of life.

And that's why we're all born individualistic.

We're all separate and equal in a way.

And we all have to make that trek.

But the trek could be to an ocean too.

The experience of tantra is all about flowing with the river and not fighting the currents and allowing yourself to go down river and stay afloat until you reach the ocean.

And when you reach the ocean is when you dissolve.

So in a way,

Mountaintops have their peak experiences which are amazingly beautiful,

But oceans have their own experiences.

It's not a peak experience,

It's a dive in and dissolve into the universe type experience.

They both happen the same,

They're just different expressions of the truth.

Because not everybody is in the mountains.

Some people are in the oceans.

I'm into both.

I love both.

I love riding mountains and I love surfing in the ocean.

And I love meditating too.

And because I love meditating too,

I can share some of my experiences with you and help give you a little bit of push and a little bit of motivation to get out there and try and do some of these things.

Whether it's meditating or just being mindful of other things and other people and conscious and practicing awareness and just the little things in life.

Practice awareness just moving your hand back and forth or practice awareness sweeping the floor or washing the dishes.

Like I said,

You can even practice awareness while you're riding your motorcycle.

You know,

That's what they call Zen motorcycling.

It's very cool stuff.

Anyway,

I could ramble on forever but I won't.

And I just want to say thank you for joining me this little session about dreams and how it relates with spirituality and how we can transcend those dreams and grow from them.

Anyway,

You guys take care of yourselves.

Much love.

Bye stop
