Hi my friend,
Let's talk about autumn and the presence it gives us.
According to Chinese medicine,
Autumn is a time of cleansing that allows us to go into hibernation that nature goes in winter without toxins and heaviness.
Because if we go with toxins,
So we might develop illnesses.
Illnesses doesn't have to be necessarily physical,
Can be emotional,
Psychological discomfort.
What does it mean to cleanse and what do we need to cleanse?
So obviously physical cleansing is always good and especially in this time.
But let's talk more about the mind and the emotions and the spirit.
How do we know what we need to cleanse?
Obviously we need to cleanse what we're feeling that is toxic,
That is pulling us down.
So here is invitation for us to look within and to see what kind of thoughts,
What kind of emotions are kept occurring within us,
We keep producing in our mind that takes us down,
That are opposite of lightness,
Opposite of well-being,
Opposite of life giving.
Let's take a minute and try to recognize within us what can I let go?
What are the recent thoughts and emotions that I feel are not really supportive to my life?
Obviously we don't want to think bad but it comes.
In order to cleanse we must take a firm decision.
I choose to let go of that type of thinking because it's not supporting me anymore.
How do we do that?
In order to let go of thought and emotion that is not supporting you,
You need also to create space between the part in you that observe that thought and the part that deciding that thought is not good for me.
But if any time that thought occurs in your mind you get glued into it and you start to think it and you start to produce emotion,
Obviously this is not helpful and you cannot let go of it.
In order to working with negative thinking you have to work also with space,
Creating space so the mind can start to observe itself and create space so it doesn't immediately identify with that thought and starting to think it.
So detoxing or cleansing thoughts and emotion actually it's more teaching yourself how to do it and deciding not to do it anymore.
Or if you find yourself in a negative state so you know how to let go fast so you don't go deeper and create an uncomfortable situation or this is state within you.
