We're all facing destruction and life is full of reason to be distracted.

Let's learn how to come back to the present moment.

First of all,

We need to create space between the mind that thinks and the awareness being aware of those thoughts.

Then we can have more power over recognizing when our mind is distracted.

If I'm always following the mind and identifying with the mind,

That I don't know where is my center and I don't know actually that I am distracted,

Because that's my normal state of being,

All the time,

Wherever the mind goes,

Either going to thoughts,

Going to fulfilling desires,

Addictions,

News,

All the time following this mind,

That all the time looking for something to chew on,

To digest.

It doesn't like to be quiet.

It doesn't like to be present.

It's afraid from silence.

And we're developing the ability to observe the mind and we become like a warrior,

Meaning that I'm here in stillness and I'm affirming myself in stillness and I'm willing to take the pain which I'm experiencing in that moment that the mind is wanting some to fulfill.

In the moment that the mind wants to fulfill a desire and I say no,

I'm willing to face the pain,

To face the discomfort of the mind going,

I want this,

I want this,

I want this.

We say no.

In that moment,

There's a moment of pain,

Of discomfort and then the magic arises.

When you feel suddenly that life starting to talk to you from everything you're engaging with,

Can be a plant that you're looking at,

It can be just a space around you that suddenly you feel is alive,

Anything you're going to look at will be magical.

Because when you rejected following the mind into constantly being distracted and constantly fulfilling its desires,

You pull back and then the magic arises.

Just that moment of discomfort between the suffering that the mind experiencing and maybe even physically your body is like a craze when you're giving up drugs,

It's really feeling uncomfortable,

You go through this moment and then the breath goes deeper,

Then suddenly the magic of existence start to flower in front of you because you are present and life is only now,

Not in the news,

Not in what bothers you,

It's only now.

Remember to come back to presence,

To come back to being aligning with this moment and then you're going to live in magic.

It doesn't mean I don't follow the news,

It doesn't mean I don't eat something wonderful with a beautiful taste,

It doesn't mean,

You know,

It doesn't mean preventing ourselves from the enjoyment that this life gives,

But it means that we're observing what's happening and we're taking control of the mind and we decide if this is the time to have a cake or it's just a distraction and we can go back into being.
