Hello everyone,

I'm Carrie,

A spiritual coach and tarot reader who is here to help you embrace your inner strength with this visualization meditation that is inspired by the strength card in the Rider-Waite-Smith tarot deck.

One interpretation of the strength card when appearing in a tarot spread can often mean the need for you to embrace your inner strength and to acknowledge that you can overcome whatever comes your way.

I invite you to take a moment,

Find a comfortable position,

Either sitting or lying down,

Gently close your eyes,

And allow your body to relax.

Let's take a few deep breaths to settle in,

Inhale deeply through your nose,

And exhale slowly through your mouth.

Again,

Inhale deeply through your nose,

And exhale slowly through your mouth.

Let go of any tension as you begin to center yourself in this moment.

With every breath,

Feel yourself becoming more present.

Now,

Imagine yourself in a peaceful location.

Is it your bedroom?

The beach?

The forest?

What surrounds you?

What noises do you hear?

Really ground yourself into the peace surrounding you.

Now,

I want you to think about one situation that has been causing you some stress.

Be mindful of that situation.

We don't want to focus on something too overwhelming,

Where we come out of our peaceful state,

But we want something that tends to get on our nerves.

Maybe it's someone in your life not communicating with you or being rude.

Maybe it's a work deadline that has been plaguing your time.

Maybe it's an argument that recently happened with a friend or loved one.

Think about how you feel about that situation.

Does it make you sad,

Annoyed,

Angry?

Does the situation take up a lot of your time?

Visualize these emotions outside of yourself and place a color for them.

What color comes to mind?

Say it out loud.

If you're angry,

Maybe it's red or maybe orange comes up.

Sit with this feeling and visualize it outside of you as a color.

That color is in front of you.

Now,

I want you to consider what you need to change the situation and to change the color.

If you're angry and the color is red,

Start to think about what the opposite of anger is.

Is it peace?

Is it joy?

Is it calmness?

What colors would those emotions be instead?

I want you to think about that.

I want you to visualize that color as well outside of you,

Sitting right next to the opposition of the initial color.

What do you need to get from the initial color to the new color?

Do you need more boundaries?

Do you need to ask for help?

Do you need to apologize?

Do you need to take some me time?

What do you need for the color of the situation to change?

Consider what you need and say it out loud.

I need.

.

.

Now,

Let's say you got what you need and the color of the situation has changed.

Now,

Both colors are the new color.

If you were angry before and the color was red,

Now it is the color you visualize the opposite of anger.

It is yellow.

It is white.

It is whatever color came to mind.

Now,

The color of the situation has changed.

Do you think you can make this change in real time?

You know what you need now.

Do you think you can take this step to ask and communicate for what you need?

Consider this.

Remain a steady breath while you think of this.

Know any tension or discomfort to the thought.

Can you make the change you need in real time?

Can you ask for what you need?

Think about it.

You're still in your peaceful location.

Everything in your environment is calm.

You are safe and you have the new color surrounding you.

Know that you have the strength to handle this situation.

You have the strength to handle any situation.

You changed the colors through identifying what you need from within.

You have everything you need within you,

But you need to stop doubting that.

You are full of strength.

You are full of capability.

You can communicate effectively.

You can place boundaries.

You can ask for help.

You can make a change.

You have all this within you and more.

This is strength.

It is within you and around you.

Take heed of your needs.

Take heed of what changes you need to make and do not doubt your strength ever again.

You're still in your peaceful location.

Everything in your environment is calm.

You are safe and you are strong.

You are safe and you are strong.

As we slowly bring this meditation to a close,

Begin to bring your awareness back to the present moment.

As we leave this peaceful location,

Let know you can always come back by re-listening to this meditation.

Start to gently wiggle your fingers and toes,

Feeling the energy in your body.

Take a deep breath in and as you exhale,

Slowly begin to open your eyes.

I want you to take note that it feels safer to confront our issues in a meditation rather than in person.

Everyone who listens to this meditation will be living a life with their own complexities and circumstances,

But I want to remind you all that strength is in each and every one of you.

The strength to stand up for yourself,

To communicate,

To make a change.

We all have this strength inside us.

Even when doubt creeps in and says the opposite,

Your inner strength exists and it's waiting for you.

It's waiting for you to recognize it.

I just hope this meditation helps you in believing that for yourself.

Thank you for joining me today and I look forward to meditating with you again soon.

Wishing you all the best.

Take care.
