Hello and welcome to your meditation today.
Settle in and take a moment to find some stillness.
Let yourself fully arrive and allow your mind to tune in and your body to settle.
Whatever came before this and whatever comes after,
Set it aside for now.
This is your time to simply be and an opportunity to check in.
So just begin by taking a deep breath in through your nose and exhale it slowly.
Let your shoulders soften,
Let your face relax and let your hands rest.
And really feel the weight of your body being fully supported by the surface beneath you.
Now bring your awareness to your feet and ever so lightly press down through the soles of your feet and feel the connection between your body and the earth.
And notice that with each breath the connection grows stronger and anchoring you.
Breathe in deeply drawing in stability and presence.
And breathe out releasing anything that feels heavy or distracting.
And now trust the earth to hold you while you bring your attention to your spine.
Imagine a thread traveling up your spine,
The back of your neck and gently pulling the crown of your head towards the sky.
Feeling grounded through your feet and uplifted through the spine and your head.
Steady and open.
Breathing in deeply drawing in stability and presence.
And exhaling releasing anything that feels heavy or distracting.
Gently notice the rhythm of your breath and bring awareness to the air.
How it feels as it enters your nostrils.
How it feels touching your skin.
And how it expands your ribcage and how it nourishes you.
Reminding you that you are here fully present.
Lastly move your focus to your heart area,
Your inner anchor.
Imagine this space as a steady point within you.
A place of clarity,
A place of safety and presence.
A place where you can always return to.
Take a final deep breath in here and exhale release.
And let this rhythm settle you.
And when you are ready slowly open your eyes letting the light welcome you.
Maybe move your fingers a little,
Your toes a little.
Maybe move your shoulders a bit and smile gently.
And keep this sense of stability and presence as you go on with your day.
