Welcome to this meditation to sleep.

It is called the Legend of Everest Sanctuary and it will allow you to have a deep relaxation.

Come with me to conquer Japan's highest peak.

The legends and traditions of Mount Fuji will undoubtedly help you fall asleep.

Good evening and welcome to this meditation.

Take a moment to feel the calm that surrounds you.

This moment is for you.

A moment of return to yourself.

Tonight I invite you on a journey.

A unique journey.

To the mountains of the world.

To a sacred place.

The Mount Everest.

The roof of the world.

But also a place of inner peace.

We will explore the heights not to conquer but to strip ourselves of the superfluous.

Climbing not to exhaust ourselves but to reach a space of deep stillness.

That of restorative sleep.

Before you begin,

Make yourself comfortable.

Lie down in bed.

Relax your arms and legs.

Feel the warmth of the blanket against your body.

Find the simplest,

Most still position possible.

Close your eyes and take a deep breath.

Inhale and exhale gently and slowly.

Again.

Take a deep,

Deep breath.

Inhale and exhale gently.

Allow yourself to put your hands on your belly.

And meanwhile you inhale,

Exhale slowly.

Put your attention in your belly.

Sense it moving.

Being full and then being empty.

Sense its movements meanwhile you breathe.

And the more you put your attention in your belly,

The more that your breathing is slower and slower.

Your body is relaxing.

Feel your body already beginning to sink into the mattress and inhale again.

Exhale longer as if you were gently releasing all the tension.

Once again,

Inhale slowly and then release.

Your breathing becomes natural.

It flows quietly like a stream on the side of a mountain.

Tonight you are invited to take a symbolic journey.

A pilgrimage to the height through the subtle and wild landscapes of the Himalayas.

You find yourself in a valley.

Far from everything around you,

Prayer flags flutter in the wind.

They dance gently,

Whispering invisible mantras.

Before you,

The path begins.

You are guided.

No strength or effort is required.

It is an inner ascent.

Each step brings you closer to a deep and peaceful sleep.

Allow yourself to feel the snow that is around you.

Put your feet on this snow.

Sense your footsteps on this snow,

How it is moving,

How it is falling on this snow.

Continue to walk and meanwhile you walk,

Sense the wind that is in there.

It is a calm wind.

Sense the wind touching your body.

Sense the sensation of the wind touching your body.

You continue walking.

The path is soft under your feet.

Each step is light.

As you climb,

You leave something behind,

The restless thoughts of the day.

You let them slide into the valley.

The tensions of the body fade away with each breath.

Higher up,

The wind becomes fresher,

But this wind purifies you.

It carries away what you no longer need.

You feel lighter physically and emotionally.

Sense in your body how light you are.

Sense your body being lighter physically.

Your shoulders are lighter.

Your emotions are lighter.

And as you look before you,

You watch this Mount Everest.

It reveals itself as majestic,

Motionless and big.

It is there like a silent master.

It doesn't speak,

But you understand everything it wants to convey to you.

You know that you are not going all the way to the summit.

Tonight,

Your goal is to reach a sanctuary nestled on the mountainside.

An ancient place hidden in the eternal sloughs,

Reserved for those seeking peace.

As you walk,

You notice that you are no halfway there.

You see a suspension bridge crossing a canyon of clouds.

You are not afraid.

The bridge is solid.

You cross it confidently with each step your thoughts become calmer.

You have reached the end of the bridge.

And as you go forward,

You begin to feel a presence within you,

A part of yourself that is tranquil,

Calm,

Aware.

You are exactly where you need to be.

You look just in front of you,

A little far away.

A small Tibetan monastery that is waiting you.

It is built into the rocks.

As you walk,

You feel yourself closer to this monastery.

You notice from afar that the door is open.

They are waiting for you.

You come closer.

And now you reach the door.

You enter.

You sense the difference of temperature.

Inside,

It is warm now.

There are woven rocks,

Candles,

An amazing faint smell of incense.

How fantastic it is.

How welcoming it is.

You feel welcomed.

An elderly monk dressed in red and orange greets you without speaking.

He invites you to lie down on a large soft cushion,

Placed facing a window opening onto the vastness.

You take out your shoes and you lie down.

You settle down and the moment you close your eyes,

You feel a subtle shift.

Your breathing is deeper.

It is deep.

It is steady.

Your body is heavy,

Comfortable.

The monk sits next to you.

He begins a deep and slow chant.

A chant that resonates directly in your stomach.

It is a vibration that brings you back to what's essential.

The chant lulls you.

And while you are there at peace,

You begin to dream.

To daydream.

You dream that you lie in the snow.

But it doesn't freeze you.

It toots you.

It envelops you.

The sky is clear above you.

Studded with stars.

Amazing stars.

Some shine more than others.

Some are close.

Some are far.

You can notice someone's,

Some stars that you know.

Some are really,

Really far away and they are really amazing.

In this absolute silence,

You understand.

You understand that you don't need to climb any higher.

That everything that you are looking for is already there.

You can rest.

You can be calm.

You can be in simplicity.

The monk then whispers these words to you.

The summit of the world is not found in the mountain.

But it is in your heart when it is at peace.

And this peace,

You begin to feel it in your entire being.

And you allow yourself to breathe in and breathe out calmly.

Your breathing is slower and more profound.

Your entire being is relaxed.

Your forehead is relaxed.

Your jaw is loose.

Your breath is barely perceptible.

You are calm.

You are so calm.

Your body slowly sinks as if into a cloud.

You are not asleep yet,

But you are between two worlds.

The world of waking is fading.

The world of sleep is approaching.

And now you surrender.

Your conscious mind fades.

Your body becomes completely heavy.

Your thoughts drift away like prayer flags blown in the wind.

There is nothing more to do.

Just be.

Just surrender.

Just sleep.

You are in a sanctuary of peace.

Protected.

Soothed.

And deeply,

Deeply relaxed.

The sleep comes now naturally.

And you know that you can return here to the sacred mountain whenever you need to.

So now,

Let yourself slide and sleep well.

Sweet dream.

This is the end of this sleep meditation.

Allow yourself to stay with these soothing sensations of sleep,

Relaxation.

And I wish you an amazing good night sleep.
