Hello and welcome.
This is Jim Rajan.
Welcome to the realm of all possibility.
In this session we will be looking at flow state,
The natural effortless state of flow,
Of being in flow.
The science of astronomy has been marked by two main schools of thought,
Ptolemaic and Copernican.
The first theory from Claudius Ptolemy placed the earth at the centre of everything.
Using the data he had,
Ptolemy thought that the universe was a set of nested stars and matter surrounding the earth.
Essentially he calculated that all things,
The sun,
The moon,
Etc,
Revolved around the earth.
But hold on,
The earth doesn't have its own identity to express this.
So really he was saying that we human beings are at the centre of the universe.
Human consciousness as the centre of everything.
Ego-centric.
The I at the centre.
Nicolaus Copernicus gave us the second theory.
Copernican heliocentrism,
As it was called,
Was developed in 1543.
This model positioned the sun at the centre of the universe.
But more than this,
Copernican astronomy sees everything as part of continuous ever-flowing cycles.
Everything in continuously flowing movement.
While the sun is central to us,
Everything,
Every planet,
Moon and star,
Is all in a natural state of flow,
Relating to each other by certain laws.
Why am I telling you this?
Because there are two ways of looking at your life.
Two ways of feeling alive.
And how you engage with life itself.
The first,
The ego-centric viewpoint.
Everything revolves around you.
And therefore everything happens to you.
You are either in total power and control,
Or a victim under attack.
But either way,
You are the most important thing here.
Everything else,
Life included,
Is simply revolving around you.
And of course,
This is where competitiveness,
One-upmanship and the need for external power comes in.
We all know someone like this.
But the Copernican viewpoint is far more wholesome,
Engaging,
Loving,
Caring and connected.
It states that we are all like particles flowing seamlessly in line with the natural motion of all things.
We are all an intrinsic and integral part of natural flowing systems,
Where no one or one thing is more important than another.
All constituents are equal.
And you actually need the flow of life to help you get where you're going.
Now this is not saying,
Be passive,
Leave it up to life.
This is saying,
Flow naturally with life.
And life will flow naturally with you.
Give to life.
And life gives to you.
Appreciate life.
It appreciates you.
And when you stand firmly in the gratefulness of this amazing opportunity we call life,
Then life gives you what you need to be in continuous flow,
On your path,
On your way,
On your journey to learning of life and therefore yourself.
All things flow naturally together in relation to one another.
Otherwise you have resistance.
You simply have resistance.
And when the totality is in movement and discovery,
Everything within benefits.
You will find flow state,
Not when you put yourself as important at the centre,
But when you integrate and allow yourself to feel intrinsically a part of everything.
Go out of the you and feel yourself as the all,
The everything and nothing less.
Dissolve into the ether and see the opportunity that lies there.
For it is vast,
My friend.
Thank you.
