Hi,
And welcome to your meditation.
This short meditation is for nervous system reset and embodied presence through gratitude.
It's a great thing to do in the morning or really any time of day that you're looking for a reset and to remember what matters.
Let your eyes close gently or soften your gaze.
Take a slow breath in and a long steady breath out.
Let your shoulders drop and your body begin to settle.
There's nothing you need to fix right now.
Allow yourself to just be here with your breath,
With yourself.
Now,
Gently bring to mind something you're grateful for.
It doesn't need to be big or profound,
Just something real.
It could be a person,
A memory,
Something about yourself.
Whatever comes first is enough.
Hold that image or sense of gratitude in your mind.
And now drop it down from your head into your heart.
Let your mind release the story and let your heart feel the truth of it.
You can place a hand over your heart if that feels good.
And then breathe into that gratitude,
Into your heart,
Warm,
Soft,
Present.
Now,
Begin to imagine that this gratitude is moving down through your body,
Down through your belly,
Your hips,
Your thighs,
Your knees,
All the way down to your feet.
Feel the soles of your feet,
Maybe against the floor,
The bed,
The ground.
And imagine gratitude anchoring there,
Spreading into your feet like a gentle glow.
And now feel it begin to grow,
Downward and outward,
As if your feet are spreading roots.
Let the gratitude become the ground beneath you,
Roots of gratitude growing out from your body into the earth,
Steady,
Widespread.
Let this become your foundation,
Holding and supporting you.
You're grounded in something real,
Grounded in what is already here.
So,
Let yourself rest into that,
Into this steady,
Living ground of gratitude,
Into this deeper truth.
You are supported,
You are held.
You are enough.
Take a few more slow breaths here.
Imagine your roots spread even wider and feel your body anchored in gratitude,
Your nervous system supported by it.
Let this be your reset,
What you return to.
One final breath in together and a long,
Slow breath out,
Grounded,
Present,
Rooted in gratitude.
You are home.
