During the meditation,
I felt a strong sense of pressure,
Like a magnetic pressure,
Pressing on my chest,
Which made it really difficult to focus on my breath.
What would be a good way to get around this experience?
It's hard to kind of speak to this diagnosis without knowing more details.
It could be a physical phenomenon associated with your heart,
Or it could be something more psychological.
We don't actually know unless I know more details.
But because during meditation,
You're sitting by yourself alone,
It's not an external causation.
When you experience this,
It's bound to be driven internally by your physical condition or your mental condition.
So in other words,
It's something that's been there all along,
All the time,
That's kind of coming to the surface.
So don't be fearful of it,
Because it's been there with you all along.
You're just now kind of cognizing it.
Just observe it deeper for a while.
So if you observe it without being afraid,
The phenomenon might itself disappear after a while,
Or it might actually get stronger,
Which makes it easier to diagnose the underlying cause.
So in short,
Do not be afraid,
But observe it deeper.
