Welcome to your evening meditation.
Make yourself comfortable and take a couple deep and relaxing breaths.
Let yourself arrive into this moment.
Follow the in-breath and the out-breath.
With every out-breath,
Breathe out tension.
And with every in-breath,
Breathe in relaxation.
And as your body relaxes,
Let your mind come into this present moment.
Welcoming your evening.
Begin by reviewing your day.
Notice all that went well.
Notice the small and big successes of the day.
And acknowledge yourself for them.
Notice what you completed.
And remember situations that you handled well.
Appreciate yourself for the positive results of this day.
And take that in deeply.
Breathe the successes of the day into the very core of your being.
Feeling a sense of acknowledgement and appreciation for yourself.
And as you continue your review of the day,
Notice situations you didn't like as much or things that did not go well.
And for each of these moments,
Reflect on what you would do differently next time.
It is not about failure,
Only about feedback and learning.
Reflect those situations now and discover what you learned and what you will do differently next time.
Without any negativity,
You might feel about these situations,
People or events,
Or about yourself concerning these.
Breathe it out.
Let it go.
Imagine you are standing under a waterfall of light,
Washing away any negativity of the day.
Clearing away events or situations that might have been disturbing.
Clear your body,
Your emotions,
Your mind.
With a luminous light washing over you.
A fresh energy clearing away anything you wish to let go of.
Also release and let go.
Anything that is unfinished.
Let yourself be complete with this day and all that occurred.
Notice the events,
Situations and people of your day.
Letting go.
Clearing out the day and breathing in a restorative,
Recharging energy into every cell of your body.
As if you could light up from within with a beautiful,
Luminous glow.
A soothing,
Nurturing energy.
As you now declare your day complete and reclaim your evening,
Your personal time.
Leaving work behind.
You might place it by the door where you can pick it up the next day.
But now you are fully present for your evening,
For yourself and for the people around you.
Family and friends,
Children or spouse.
You are fully there with them,
Present every moment.
As you embrace this evening.
And when the evening is complete,
You prepare for sleep.
Going to bed at a time that is nurturing for you.
Going to sleep peacefully and sleeping all throughout the night.
Where you recharge deeply and fully.
Saving yourself for the next day.
And as this meditation completes now,
Take another deep breath into your center.
As you awaken to the rest of your evening.
Enjoying it fully.
Present with each moment.
As you now awake and feel alert.
