Hello and welcome,
I'm so happy you're here with me right now.
Close your eyes and take a deep breath.
Let the air move slowly in through your nose and then out slowly through your nose.
Breathe in again,
Breathe out,
Let your shoulders drop,
Your jaw soften,
And allow the tightness around your chest loosen.
I know it can feel like your emotions have taken over,
Like you're a guest in your own body.
One moment you're calm,
The next a wave of heat or anger rises without warning.
It can feel like fear or rage or tears that come out of nowhere,
And it's easy to think something has gone wrong,
But nothing is wrong.
You are moving through a powerful transformation,
And your emotions,
As wild and unwelcome as they may seem,
Are messengers,
Not enemies.
Feel the rhythm of your breath begin to steady.
You don't have to resist what you feel.
You don't have to push it away.
Instead,
Let's create space for it to move through you.
Imagine your emotions as waves of energy.
They rise,
They peak,
They fall.
Each wave comes to be felt,
To be honored,
And then to dissolve.
Now bring your attention to your belly.
Place a gentle hand there.
This is your center,
Your ground.
Breathe into this space.
Feel your hand rise and fall,
And feel the warmth of life still steady within you.
When you inhale,
You expand.
When you exhale,
You release.
If anger rises,
Let it burn clean,
Not outward towards others,
But inward as light,
Burning away what no longer serves you.
If fear appears,
Let it soften in your breath.
Let it melt into trust,
Into knowing that you are safe and guided through this change.
Your body is realigning.
Your hormones are finding new harmony.
Your emotions are part of that rebalancing.
You are simply shifting into a new rhythm,
One that asks for more gentleness,
More slowing down,
More care.
Feel your breath travel from the crown of your head all the way to your toes.
Inhale calm,
Exhale resistance.
There is a stillness beneath the movement.
There is wisdom in every emotion that passes through.
Let yourself rest here in the quiet after the storm.
Let your breath be the anchor that brings you home again and again.
Namaste.
Beautiful.
