Beliefs.

No matter what happens to me,

I'm always unlucky.

I can't change.

I am not a valuable person.

I am not good enough.

Everyone has to like me.

I have to be perfect.

Do you know these or similar beliefs?

They are a part of everyone's being.

Well,

Unfortunately,

Many people don't make themselves aware of their beliefs.

The beliefs formed from childhood events,

Upbringing,

Traumatic experiences or from other teachers are most likely adopted.

Because belief in this area means a pattern of thoughts.

And the thoughts in turn are sometimes beneficial,

Sometimes not.

But to choose them consciously,

That is the secret.

If you want to live a life in self-determination,

In peace with yourself,

Full of abundance and happiness and health,

Then there is no way around taking a look at your thinking and leading it from the subconscious to the conscious.

Be aware of how important the power of your thoughts is.

If you have two people with the same problem and one says I'll never make it and the other says I'll figure out somehow,

Then the storylines,

The motivation and the approach are already very different.

There is the wise saying that has been passed down for generations.

The healthy and the sick have dissimilar thoughts.

It's true.

Did you know that depressed people are 46% more likely to have a stroke?

A 2011 study found that.

Did you know that according to another study from 2019 that looked at 7000 nurses in the US,

A significant difference in longevity was apparent between pessimists and optimists?

Pessimistic women were 50% more likely to live past age 85 compared to pessimistic women.

Optimistic men even had a 70% higher chance of living past 85 as opposed to their pessimistic peers.

So you see,

There is more and more scientific evidence that a positive mindset pays off.

But to achieve that you first have to let go of an old mindset.

For that please have a look at my recording about letting go.

I recommend before you change something,

Determine the status quo.

In which situations do you have good thoughts?

In which situations do you have negative thoughts?

How do you think?

When you feel good?

What do you think when you feel bad?

What inner sentences do you say to yourself when you are under stress?

How do you think about yourself in everyday life?

Feel free to write this down on a piece of paper for yourself.

Writing down will help you to understand yourself and your thinking better.

If you have done this,

You are further along than 90% of the people who just unconsciously think their thoughts,

Keep their patterns and allow negativity.

Once you have established these things for yourself,

The second part follows.

What do you want to keep and what do you want to change?

When you have identified what you want to change,

Wonderful!

Replace the old with the new.

So you can use this for yourself by consciously counteracting a negative thought.

This decision is a process that will lead you to getting better and better at this.

For example,

If you catch yourself cursing in traffic and negative thoughts overtake you,

Then consciously tell yourself,

Stop!

With this you break out of the old routine and set a new focus self-determinately.

A focus towards solutions,

Towards the advantages of the situation and harmony.

For example,

If you find that you don't have enough confidence in yourself because of your thought patterns,

Realize that your thoughts make the difference.

If you trust yourself more,

You will achieve more.

If you discover yourself,

For example,

Saying to yourself,

It must be perfect,

Then recognize your thought pattern,

Your belief system.

Isn't the optimum much better than perfection?

Perfection can mean,

For example,

That you need a very long time for a task,

While the optimum creates a balance between the requirements and what is really essential.

Wouldn't it be very disappointing,

For example,

If the effort you set yourself with,

Your mindset of perfectionism,

Is not registered at all?

So you can go through all your beliefs,

Examine them to see if they are beneficial to you or if you should rather let them go.

Find your own way,

Try it out.

Feel free to write in the comments what experiences you have had with changing beliefs.

How has it been for you so far?

Have you already been able to become aware of some negative beliefs?

Have you even been able to change them?

Let me know in the comments.

I'll be happy to hear from you.

Take care and see you soon.
